It's a tough fight for both fighters, as Pavlik can be hurt and AA has power to hurt him. AA, on the other hand, will have to deal with an extremely active fighter who is very powerful himself. It's a tough fight to call but I think AA will win by TKO in late rounds.
Yeah. Kudos to AA. I dont think he'll win though. He's to lazy for my liking. I think Pavlik outpoints him but of course you can never ever discount the abrahammer...

I got Pavlik winning this fight, he may have been embarrased and outclassed against Hopkins but I believe that the weight played a big factor on that fight, Pavlik does show more movement and is faster at 160 than he is at 166 (Taylor II) or 170 (Hopkins). The winner may not be certain but I believe something is really certain in this fight and it will be that this fight will be a full-scale war.

That's exactly why I think this fight is hard to call. Whatever happens though, I guarantee it'll be exciting.

I can see Pavlik beating him throughout most of the fight, then the thunder comes from AA and it's over.
I could be wrong but that's pretty much how I see it goin down.
Your wrong for sure. Most people are looking at the Hopkins fight thinking that Pavlik will get tore up by AA but honestly ask yourself what does Hopkins do that is even remotely the same as what AA has in his abilities. Nothing. Pavlik fought A Hopkins who was bigger, almost the same height and simply light years ahead of him when it comes to movement, boxing skills and defense. AA's worst habit is the clam shell D which he likes to spring out of throwing counter lefts and rights. His problem when facing PAvlik will be that Pavlik will be hammering him with the jab making him fight on the back foot behind high volume one two's all night. Pavlik will watch tape and keep the proper distance and I see him stopping AA in ten.

German tabloid Bild reports that there have been 2 meetings already. One in London and one in Cologne. "Those meetings have been really good", Sauerland says. "The fight is likely to go ahead in the summer of 2009."

Arthur Abraham is exited: "My goal is to become superchampion. I'll destroy Kelly Pavlik and then it'll be clear who the best 160 pounder is!"

Pavlik must first defend his title on feb. 21 against his mandatory Marco Antonio Rubio.

If Pavlik cleans up his act, it should prove to be an interesting fight. The question is, did Pavlik learn anything from Hopkins? Allowing stick and move boxers to continue sticking and moving, is simply not a winning strategy. Abraham will pick him apart unless he finds a solution.
