Cotto,Margarito,Williams and Pacquiao are all there if dude really wants to prove he is an ATG and YES he'd still get a HUGE payday to fight any of those fighters instead he is hiding in a corner in his prime. Bottom line PBF never fought the best while he was active so now that he's retired what makes you think he'll fight the best now?
The only thing I heard about a fight coming off is if Floyd could bring the money that way, HBO and Showtime could get there cut like they did with Lewis vs. Tyson. So, Floyd went after Gatti first to generate that money for a future PPV fight with Tszyu. Tszyu blew his end of the agreement.
Frietas: overrated and a Showtime fighter
Casamayor: could have came a bit earlier and was a Showtime fighter. He could have moved up with Floyd to 140 by the way.
Floyd didn't manage to skip over Diego did he?
Nor did he with Hatton who was the best at 140.
147 legacy: I said before his legacy isn't good there and that he should have fought at least on of the big three: Margarito, Cotto or Williams.

What a buncha dip****s in this thread, Floyd got you right where he wanted you, ya tools.
What he is doing is channeling your thought process. When it looked like he was coming out of retirement immediately to challange Pacquiao, there were some critics who started crying already that he should fight Margarito or whatever.
With this, he will channel all of you into calling him a ducker which will make it more interesting once he does come out of retirement to face Pacquiao.
ALL YOU GOTTA DO IS APPEAR TO BE DUCKING SOMEBODY AND THE FIGHT GETS BIGGER IMMEDIATELY. JUST IMAGINE IF THE KLITSCHKO'S HAD DUCKED HAYE FOR A FEW YEARS, LET HIM BUILD UP HIS HEAVYWEIGHT RESUME. Wlad or Vitali would get more credit beating him.

Ricky hasn't looked that great since losing to Floyd. Juan Lazcano gave him a lot of trouble and we don't know exactly where he is despite looking more like a boxer against Paulie since Paulie was punch-shy because of his brittle hands.
Hatton's been knocked out. Floyd popped his cherry.
But thanks for your concern

If Manny beats Hatton or even Manny and Hatton don't fight, i think a Manny Mayweather fight is to big not to happen,it would absoutley be a huge fight for boxing. And to be onest i think deep down mayweather knows it a really risky fight and were he ''0'' could go.I think if people continue to pursit for it and so much money could be made i think he will come out.

Mayweather-Pacquiao will still probably happen, I think, in late 2009 provided Pacquiao gets past Hatton.
The temptation will be to great for Floyd to stay retired.

Floyd beat a healthier Oscar...and knocked out Hatton.
Pac should have out-done Floyd by staying at 147 and fought Margarito, somebody Floyd avoided. That would have been something.
I think Williams is actually the ultimate prize.
Oscar had been lookin' less than his best since Sturm at least, so I dunno about him lookin' any 'healthier' against Maywx than he did against Manny Also, we'll see how Hatton does against the Pacman. If Pac whups him easier than PBF did, will you just say that the Hitman was already toast from suffering 1 quick KO (not a prolonged beating, mind you) at Floyd's hands? Pfffft...
The fact is that Pacs resume' is hands down better than Floyd's. If Pac beats Hatton, the only way that 'Money' will be able to be regarded as a better fighter than Pac is to enter the ring and beat him. Which he won't. So what is left for Floyd but to pray mightily for Hatton to beat Pacquiao?
