Pac will beat him by Late TKO or Points.. Mayweather will ran like a coward 30 miles per hour. The fight will happen for the same reason he ducked Cotto and Margarito. What a douchebag. Floyd is gay

Have you ever thought that it could simply be that Mayweather's retirement is real and he quite simply just doesn't want to fight anymore? Have you ever stopped liking something that took up your life and then been free of it? Obviously not judging by your response. Maybe he simply doesn't want to fight anyone.

Do you think that could be possible? Or do you think he is just terrified of Pac? Do you think that he just knows there is simply no way in hell he could ever hope to beat the wrecking machine that is Pac? Superior defense, speed, power, footwork, heart....just everything!

        *sigh*

Anyway, it would be a really great fight if it were to happen but maybe Leonard is right and they are just using his name to try and get negotiations to fall toward them for the future Hatton/Pac fight and Mayweather is not interested at all in coming back. I won't be surprised when he does come back, if he does, but I also wouldn't be surprised that he is just tired of it.

          Gayweather aint coming back....
He'll come back after all of the best out there are retired...
And after all of his dough are gone... he'll make some noise...
He doesnt have the money that DLH has.... currently, Pacman has more money than PBF...
So, I dont understand why he calls himself "Money Gayweather"... hahahahaha...

Pac scared the hell out of him... maybe 3 or 4 fights and Pacman will retire... then and only then, that PBF will make some noise that he wants a piece of Pacman...
With the current state of boxing, Pacman doesnt need Gayweather... there's a lot of healthy and eager fighters out there lining up to fight Pacman...
Gayweather, will just priced himself out if ever he makes some noise about getting it on with Pacman...
Gayweather's balls are crossing whenever they mentioned Pacman's name to him... hahahahaha!!!!

I agree with what I read earlier in that maybe Flloyd just doesnt want to fight anymore. There must come a time in everyones life when you feel like that and that kind of decision is not going to be right for everyone but you cant always please everyone.

I also think that Mayweathers name is being used to hype up the Pac Vs Hatton fight which I believe is probably already nearly a done deal, I think they are just discussing what weight to fight at

And I rip Floyd's legacy all the time at 147+

Your logic doesn't hold much water Benny. Everybody including my 99 year old grandpa and my 2 year old son knows Holmes and Berbick going to win against Ali, same as with Rocky over Joe, Lennox over Mike. Almost nobody gave Pacman a chance against Oscar, see the difference?

It does hold because by the first round, if we didn't get the picture from what Freddie was saying, was that Oscar showed up drained for the fight and couldn't fight back; he didn't stand a chance.

There is a whole list of fighters that could have whooped that Oscar that night.

If this was Oscar at a healthy weight (154/160+ fight time weight), where he wasn't drained, and even though Freddie had been saying Oscar "couldn't pull the trigger anymore," I would have thought of it as a better victory, even though you can only get so much credit for beating past prime fighters. To me it would have been much better having it at 154 so that we could compare it with Floyd's, sicne that is what Freddie is now trying to do.

You know Dundee said Ali was drained when he fought Holmes. Ali took these diet pills to drop weight. Ali went around lifting up his shirt saying how good he looked but the truth was, it was draining the energy out of him. Add that to his other possible problem at the time; that's not good.

Pac's career has been great before Oscar. I don't count the Oscar win as anything. You can't get credit for shooting a corpse. Beating a Past Prime fighter; somewhat. But a corpse; NO.

It's always been the same with me with Floyd when he fought at 147: Mitchell and Judah; not such great wins for the 147 resume.

Ricky never looked good at 147 before he fought Floyd.

Chalk it up to a moot point.
When Ricky fought at 147 last time he weighed in somewhere around 158, so this fight with Floyd the plan was to come in at his usual fight time weight when he fights at 140. They had the option not to put on the extra weight which they did.

So, if Ricky did in fact show up at 149 by fight time after weighing in at 145; that's his usual fight time weight when he fights at 140.

Floyd fights at the same weight as other JrWW do for fight-time; 149...same weight Ricky tends to weigh-in at for JrWW.

So you see, even though these fighters fight in the 140 pound division, they tend to show up, like Ricky, at 149. Which means, if Ricky fought at 149 and even though the fight with Floyd is at 147, it's the "normal/JrWW" Ricky.

Ricky had the ability to show up at his best weight which his team said he would do and not make the same mistake they did with Collazo and show up to heavy.

It's all about HOW MUCH THEY WEIGH AT FIGHT TIME; AND NOT WHAT THE DIVISION SAYS, that you should consider in this case. Or let me guess: The fact that it said "Welterweight" somehow hurt Ricky Mentally even though he was going up against a former lightweight and the smallest Welterweight in the division who shows up at 149 by fight time like most of the JrWW do by fight-time

                    Understand?

Manny should have never went up to 147. Margarito called him out and Manny won't fight him. It's a shame that someone can come into your division and then run back down. He just ducked all the good fighters in the division just like Floyd did.
