      He is Mexico's Bernard Hopkins.

...except he hits the canvas sometimes.

        "sometimes" is an understatement

yes one of the great skilled boxers and counterpunchers, but i like watching mab more, good combination of technical skills and aggression. jmm's resume falls a tad short of mab and em though imo.

Yup. That was like reaching. Can't deny his skills though.

For one, he is more skilled than either of the two. He also had Pac fighting for his life. Resume wise, i must admit barrera edges him

BASKETBALL FANS VOTE PACQUIAO AS POUND-FOR-POUND #1
                  By Ryan Burton

During Thursday night's Boston Celtics-Washington Wizards NBA game, TNT ran a ticker on the bottom of the screen where fans could text in their vote for thew #1 pound-for-pound boxer. Broadcaster Charles Barkely posted his Fave 4 as the choices that fans could vote for. His choices were Manny Pacquiao, Bernard Hopkins, Ricky Hatton and Joe Calzaghe. Manny Pacquiao was the runaway winner of the viewer poll with B-Hop a distant second followed by Hatton and Calzaghe, the two British-based entrants. It was good to see boxing being discussed in the mainstream and getting some love during an NBA game.

I think he is one of the most complete fighters mexico have produce. He is not your tipical mexican boxer who just brawls. He trhows a lot of combinations, he give people angles, his defense is very good The only problem is his chin. But besides that he is a great great fighter. Quality wise I rank him higher than Morales and Barrera!!!!!!!!
