The more I read on this forum about Marquez, the more I agree with you here. People are making Marquez out to be this special talent all of a sudden. It really just came about in the last year too. I don't think he's a piece of ****, he's a good fighter, but some of this praise is getting out of hand.

Marquez is NOT one of the 10 best Mexican fighters ever, nor is he in the same class as Barrera and Morales. They beat the absolute best in their respective weight classes, won multiple world championships in those divisions and produced some of the most memorable moments boxing has ever had. I don't think anybody could make a serious claim that Marquez is a top 10 or possibly even top 20 fighter in ANY of the weight classes he has participated in (historically).

The judges' scoring diverged widely. One had it 115-110 for Marquez, another 115-110 for Pacquiao. Judge Burt Clements sealed the draw with a 113-113 score, but he admitted making a mistake. He should have had the first round 10-6 for Pacquiao instead of 10-7. Pacquiao would have won a decision.

If Arum Paid the Ref then Why is it a draw? You know very well 3 knockdowns = 10-6.. The judge made a mistake everyone knows that. Pac beat him twice.. Get over it damn.. JMM nuthuggers are really annoying. He said that after the fight you nuthugger.

It amuses me that you pac desciples always hate on Marquez(the guy that beat up on pac twice, as pac did to him.) But you hold Morales and Barrera up high, both of them got beat by pac twice.
