If they both fought to the best of their abilities at their absolute peaks Jones wins but it would be a very competitive fight.

Can we all just agree that the Roy that fought last night was well under 50% of the level he fought at in his prime? Surely we can all just agree on that and let all this **** go now.
No, i thought not - trust me, Calzaghe hit harder, much harder 6 /7 years ago and was also faster. No, lets pretend Joe is a 25 yr old its easier to argue in favour of everyone else?

Sometimes it takes time, but eventually the cream will rise to the top.
We all know Joe wanted no part of a prime Roy, and only started to call him out way after he had shown to be out of his prime.

if joe is so great than why didnt he move up in weight 7-8 years ago when RJJ was in his prime? why did he wait till RJJ was 2 months away from 40 to fight him? Cause he knew a prime Roy would hav whooped his a$$. So instead he stayed in his home country fighting bums and journeymen in a weak division for over a decade. In the UK Calzaghe maybe an ATG but outside the UK he aint ****. He will never be considered an ATG outside of the UK. End of.

That is the most idiotic statement I have heard in years.
Then for Calzaghe vs Jones in the 90's. I could see this issue being more valid, as Roy did not take on all comers. However, just looking at the styles Calzaghe IMO would get stopped early vs prime Roy. Keep in mind Calzaghe speed at his peak is no where near the speed of prime Roy. Calzaghe also fights like a girl with those weak as slaps. But more importantly he would catch counter after counter vs a peak Roy. The Roy he fought simplyk had nothing left. It was sadd.
Bact to the Camacho vs Leonard, Please. It would be a easy walk down for Ray in fact either Camacho would run and run like he did vs Chavez. For Christ sakes he let DLH pummel him and are we saying DLH was as good as a prime Leonard. I hope no one is that crackheadish. Leoanrd bigger stronger, faster, better combinations etc...and Camacho would have to move up to face him at 147. Easy Easy Easy fight
It is completely ****** and out of question to even mildly think Douglas could win a round vs Tyson when he was peak.
It is completely ****** and out of question to even mildly think Mayorga could win a round vs Forrest when he was peak.
It is completely ****** and out of question to even mildly think Honeyghan could win a round vs Curry when he was peak.
It is completely ****** and out of question to even mildly think McCall could win a round vs Lewis when he was peak.
It is completely ****** and out of question to even mildly think Darchinyan could win a round vs Mijares when he was peak.
Sounds completely ****** and out of the question doesn't it.
Pop quiz hot shot.
When did Roy Jones ever want a fight with Calzaghe?
