Is anyone else sadded by what happened to ROY last night? Serious question

I don't wanna say I'm crushed, but I grew up watching Roy and he just isn't meant to fight anymore..

It was sad to see him I'm there just taking a beating.. I thought he would give much more.

Every time Joe flurried I thought ROY would counter at least once, but he was too scared and gunshy.. He didn't really make an effort to hit Joe to the body either.. Soo many countering opportunities were there but he just didn't take them.

I just think that it is sad to see a guy I watched my whole life become what he is now.. I felt the same way when i saw the last Arturo Gatti fight.

I appreciate this guys amazing career and he is the best p4p champ ever in the game.. (i didnt say the best fighter ever)

Hes an ATG might I add and the best fighter ive ever had a chance to watch..

    Thanks ROY!

I really didn't see Roy box in his prime but watching the beating Calzaghe dealt kinda saddened. To see a legend be beaten that bad with that bad of a cut was just....

yeah i was saying earlier, it was quite sad from one perspective last night, to see a great humiliated like that... Joe's taunting didn't help matters either, although i'm happy he paid Jones a lot of respect after the fight

and this is coming from someone who's never even particularly liked Jones

As a big Joe Calzaghe fan, and a bit of a biased Brit, I have to admit I found that pretty saddening to watch yes, when Roy's eye was closed in the 10th and he was having to squint to see, and he was all bloodied up, and Calzaghe was putting like 100 punches on him. I think it should have been stopped really. I was a bit worried Roy might put on a great show, but then when you seen him hitting the pads in the dressing room with all his cheerleaders I just thought "wtf, ia he kidding?!".

I was scoring the fight looking for round do give to roy.. but after the 6th i couldnt give him anything..

Ima miss the hell outta roy.. Nobody was as fast and as good as that guy in his prime..
We can all look foward to Chad Dawson tho.. Hes going to be the number 1 p4p fighter soon..

I am not sad for him. He made millions of dollars last night.

And he did the same thing to many others, that Joe did to him.

                  What comes around goes around.

He's laughing now, all the way to the bank.
