This fight aint happening, I just read it in the newspaper. The list of Cotto's rivals are Jennings, Soto, Cintron and Clottey... according to Arum one of those is gonna be Cotto's opponent.

Too many of yall are underestimating Berto and seriously overrating Cotto. I agree that Cotto should be the favorite but to act like Berto doesn't have chance is foolish. I think Berto has a very good chance to Cotto if the fight was made. I actually would be willing to bet points on Berto winning.

I've always seen Berto as a very quick fighter that has decent power to boot. While I'm sure Cotto has faced more competition, I still can't see why everyone is saying that Berto will get flat out blown out of the water.

Or is it that I'm misinterprating the posts and that the fight will be competitive, but only for a short while?

Andre Berto is sharp...or at least the last time i saw him fight against Steve Forbes.

This would be a good fight, but i think that Miguel Cotto will put hands on him.

It'll be a good fight because it'll give a chance for Cotto to recover psychologically and give him a boost of confidence. And this fight will also test Berto and give him opportunity.
