Choicefully choosing of boxers comments, is what the article did. The daily mirror of articles it was. But then it has to be, or does it?

Whilst in contradiction to Calzaghe I think Hopkins i being under hyped, this does in contrary seem to over hype Nard. Not sure how much to derive from it, other than carefully selected comments from boxers with ulterior motives in what they say.

I've got Pavlik by clear UD in a somewhat messy fight.

its funny that Calzaghe would change his tune like that but all the other fighters are basically all Golden BOy Employees, who Hopkins help start... Taylor wants redemption for losing to Pavlik and beating Hopkins, so his answer is not surprising and who cares what Forrest has to say....Hatton however surprised me by picking Pavlik but coincidently was the only white guy asked lol... i love Hopkins and think he may be the greatest middleweight of all time but i still see Pavlik winning by decision with that reach and effective Jab....i hope Hopkins does well but i got Pavlik in this one

Joe Calzaghe really roots for bernard to win to give him reason not to fight pavlik

If Kelly Pavlik wins, it won't be because of his power. I know enough of the sweet science to know that. Some people underestimate Pavlik's defense and counter-punching ability, he can fight in the pocket and pick off his opponent's shots on the inside. That will be a key to beat Hopkins, not Pavlik's right hand (that goes along with it). If he wants to KO B-Hop he'd have to throw more body punches early. Then in the later rounds set him up with a 1-2 up top. By then Hopkins would be too tired to move around.

We all know what B-Hop is going to do and thats to spoil whatever his opponent throws at him, neutralize their best weapon. Make it ugly and frustrate his foe mentally. It'll be interesting to see Pavlik being frustrated in there cuz he definitely will be.

Pavlik will just be too busy for Bernard. His power won't help much imo, but his workrate will.

Taylor has nothing to do with GBP.

But if you read closely, he only picked Bernard contingent upon BHOP fighting "the perfect fight". He goes on to say Pavlik could easily come away with the victory.

                    GOOD POST!!!

                    Shane was pretty detailed.
You gotta like him for not hiding behind diplomacy.
But I wonder how biased the Golden Girls are in these predictions, eh?

Regardless, I agree with you. Their opinion matters much more to me than anyone else posting on this thread.
