I don't think he is jelous but I will admitt that he has had kind of a grudge. Not sure why. Roy is not a racist by any stretch of the imagination. He may just hold those feelings because they dominate the division and are from a different country. ................ . Very interresting though.

RJJ would never fight either Klitschko, I remember after Wlad became the champ and there was some talk about Roy wanting to fight him but Jones does what he does best, runs his mouth and avoids getting his ass beat. In his so called prime years 95-2003 have people forgotten that Roy was hand picking guys like Frazier a part timer, and faded champs like McCallum when the real challenge was Dariuz. Only after Michalczweski lost did Roy conveniently start saying he was never a threat. At 175 the only fight that mattered for years never happened because for one reason or another Jones preferred the no hopers over a true contender. Toney loses to both Klitschko's with his best chance coming against Vitali who might fall apart and lose a leg or hip during the fight. Wlad v Toney is a beat down for lights out.

Quite honestly, Vitali wasnt beating up Byrd as bad as people make that fight out to be. more or less he was just outworking him while using his height, and all the same Byrd won 2 or so rounds. Not that I think that Toney would win, but it wouldnt be a beatdown, and it would closer than people would think.

Wlad is different, and probebly a horrible style matchup for Toney, Toney probebly wouldve gotten pretty beat up. but you have to remember that Wlad's losses to Sanders and Brewster were still fresh in people's minds at the time, and I think most people would agree that Toney would have beaten Brewster and Sanders...they fell right into Toney's style.

and Toney wasnt as bad at heavyweight as some people think. he deserved a win over Sam Peter whos one of the champs today, beat the hell out of Holyfield, who still hasnt been KOed years later and in his later 40s, and really outclassed John Ruiz. Ruiz may be boring and ****ty, but he also gave Chagaev a tough fight, winning 4 or 5 rounds, arguably has two wins over Valuev, and beat McCline easily.

Well, Roy beat Toney and already fought at HW, so why won't he fight the Klitchkos? I'm sure both brothers would be all for that.

A few things here.

I never said Roy would fight the Klitschko's or ever incinuated that. What post are you reading?
Jones would have to be a ****in idiot to consider it. But, if Jones were 6' 5"+ and weighed 230+lbs, would you see any heavyweight ****ing with him? Hell No!!!!! Roy said Toney would beat either Klitschko mostly by reaction and based on his fight with James. He probably thought on it later and realized it was not the smartest thing to say. Just like when he said Hasim Rahman would beat Vitali. We know better.

To comment on the Jones not fighting Dariusz M. ? Who gives a snowman chance in hell to DW in a fight with Jones of even escaping the fight at all, more less winning it? Jones would have wasted time and money fighting that bum and anyone with sense knows it. With names like Hopkins, Tarver, Toney , Woods, Trinidad and soon to be Calzaghe on your resume', you don't need words to prove your greatness. It speaks for itself.

Everyone's entitled to their opinion, but I admit Roy uses incredibly ****ty reasoning for why Toney would beat both of them. Reasoning that you would think a great boxing mind like his wouldnt use. He uses a WEAK form of the triangle theory. Byrd beat Vitali, and Toney is faster than Byrd, and Vitali is better than Wladimir, so that means Toney definitely beats Wladimir... I mean gimmie a break. What kind of bull**** is that?

Also, this was over three years ago, alot has changed since then.
