Luckily for me I hold the pronouncements of boxers to roughly the same kind of standards I hold advertising, since both are just designed to market a product and make money. People shouldn't take it so seriously.

No I agree with that. Lots of boxers lie off their asses. It's okay, but if someone points that out, it should be noted.

I don't take it seriously, boxers say **** all the time to hype **** up. It does tend to annoy some people when a boxer you already dislike does it though (and one who really sucks at trash talk)

To compare Jeff Lacy to Kelly Pavlik is dumb. Pavlik has already accomplished more than Lacy could dream of.

Four US top super middles...like Charles Brewer? Yeah...he was REALLY top flight when Calzaghe fought him. So much so that he lost to Antwun Echols right before. You know Echols, right? One of those "bums" Hopkins beat at middleweight.

It'd be easy to say the US hasn't produced a single boxer that's beaten Joe when they were plenty at 175 that he could've faced. And they would've all garned him more money then beating Will McIntyre, for instance.
