Somebody needs to tell this ****ot that Pavlik was a middlewieght and got offered a shot to fight the middleweight champ. Why would he reject that to fight the SMW guy? The second fight was under a rematch clause which Taylor excerised, Pavlik had no choice. Since then Calzaghe has been running from Pavlik. He calls himself the legned killer, **** Oleg Maskaev can knockout Ali now, does that make him a legend killer?

Exactly right man. The only reason he even beat B-Hop is because he was the agressor the whole time because B-Hop was tired the whole time cause he's old as hell! If you judge the fight how your supposed to such as scoring it based on clean and effective punching, defense, ring generalship, and effective aggression then I don't think too many would argue that B-Hop won. I love how he's a legend killer now too lol! Saying he's gonna retire RJJ sorry he already did retire and should have stayed retired who's he gonna fight next George Foreman or maybe Evander LOL.

What is funny about all this is while Joe is fighting these old cats for a legacy, Pavlik is fighting them and wanting Joe, for purely exposure only. Stepping Stones. Pavlik looks at Joe as just another stepping stone to bigger paydays!

Pavlik is hype..........just like Jeff Lacy. His style is made for Calzaghe........just like Jeff Lacy. It will be a shame to end the career of another Great American Hype........i mean Hope........just like Jeff Lacy.

In all seriousness though, it sounds like Joe is actually playing the game and hyping a future fight between the two.

He may be hyping the fight because he will have to after he loses to Jones. He wants a backup plan. That's why he did'nt give up the SMW title. Pretty smark acually. The problem is that if he fights Jones or Pavlik, he gets beaten. I think Jones will school him and Pavlik will finish him off. Kelly is no Lacy. Jeff Lacy only beat fringe contenders , not the undisputed & unified middleweight champ that dethroned the former undisputed & unified middleweight champ. That is the difference.
