Roy Jones Jnr v Bernard Hopkins NOW!

Judging by their last performance, I think Roy would win. If Hopkins was in his middle to late 30's, I think he wins.

Am I the only person alive who still sees hand speed, pretty good reflexes(not as good in his prime, and nor should they be(40 years old) even now and a good counter puncher when watching Roy Jones Jr.? In his prime he was a 100 on rating skill...now hes more like an 75-80. Hes still pretty good...
why can't an old fighter still be good, obviously hes no longer great because hes 40 years old.
I think Roy would win against Hopkins now for the same reasons I would pick him in their primes. Roy is still faster than Nard, he also lets his hands go more than Nard. (even now)Also you make the argument Roy is still more athletic than Nard even now. Also, you have to figure, you would definitley see the best Roy Jones Jr.(at 39) you could ever possibly see because its against Hopkins. Roy wouldn't want to lose to Hopkins and vice versa.

Do you really hate Roy that much? lol You are a silly character that knows less about Roy Jones Jr than the average person that knows nothing of boxing that lives in Pensacola Florida.
sad.............
You should just stick to talking about your boy Joey....

Opening bell, Hopkins stands still, refusing to be the aggressor. Jones sidesteps and lays on the ropes with a high guard.
12 rounds later, no punches have been thrown, and hundreds have been crushed to death as the entire crowd simultaneously ran for the exit.
And it still wouldn't be as boring as Mayweather-Baldomir.
