Hatton - Mayweather 2 is pointless.

              Hatton would get stopped again.

No offense but floyd sr would be MUCH MUCH MUCH better served training an oscar de la hoya or manny pacquiao.

Even with the loss to margarito i still think the top 3 fighters who have the BEST chance currently of beating mayweather are (in no specific order):

                Oscar De La Hoya
                Manny Pacquiao
                Miguel Cotto

                End of story...

ricky hatton cannot and will not beat floyd jr...the ONLY way and i mean the ONLY way hatton beats him is if he lands a lucky punch to stop mayweather...with is HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY unlikely.

Oscar, pacman, cotto...those are the guys i believe could give floyd the biggest challenge right now.
Pacquiao stands no chance against mayweather he would get stooped floyd can have fun with the smaller man and demonstrate his skills if pac's getting hit clean by guys like Barrera and marquez whats he going to do with a guy with equal skill if not more but a harder punch

it would be like the early stages of the cotto fight except for marg wouldnt be able to punish floyd like he did cotto
Exactly to the bold I really don't see how people can't see this. The underlined is how it would play out IMO also.

Now that Hatton has hired trainer Floyd Mayweather Sr., father of the man who beat him - he believes their two man combo will lure Mayweather Jr. out of retirement for a rematch. Hatton's first fight under Floyd Sr. will come against IBF junior welterweight champ Paulie Malignaggi on November 22 in Las Vegas. [details]
