Guzman's Manager Nunez:
“I told Joan, I will not follow you into the ring. It’s not the right thing. It’s the wrong thing to do and I can’t go along with you on this. Your career is still brilliant. Your career will continue. But I must agree with the doctors that you cannot risk your life for one fight. If the doctors say you cannot go, I have to agree with them. We will move on from here.”
Yes, yes, I know he ****ed up, he added too much muscle from the strength training and the blame is on him, but some you guys are acting like he's Osama Bin Ladin. He ****ed up, moving up in weight, made a mistake, but he was game to fight despite being unhealthy. Cut him a bit of slack before assembling the lynch mob, he's no coward! He was a 2-1 favorite to win the fight and would have been a much needed payday for Guzman.
Nate would've whupped that ass with or without guzman's weight problems, but for sure guzman would not have made it out of the ring with his 0 intact if he went in there dehydrated.

I don't give a flying **** if he wanted to or didn't want to fight. He is a professional who didn't do his job and............as a matter of fact, **** it. He will get whatever punishment he deserves.

I considered JMM as Pac's biggest threat and no other. Guzman is a trying hard Mayweather wannabe who's far behind JMM's caliber. He's no coward be he sure is dumb to let his biggest opportunity slip away.
