I know that when your tired or dehydrated, you are more prone to getting hurt, no doubt. I just think when you look at fighters like Chavez, Margarito, Baldomir, they just have "it".

You can't train someone's chin to be that strong. That's why a good trainer will always train a fighter to his/her strengths, not try and mold them into what he wants them to be.

I'm sure there is new training methods that can improve mayeb even your chin but I guarantee you that Margarito will always be able to take Cotto's punch while Cotto will not be able to take Margarito's punch no matter how hard or what method Cotto uses.

Cotto is the better boxer but Marg just willed his way to a win and I don't see that changing. It's kind of like Barerra vs Junior Jones, Barerra was the better boxer and will go down as a legend but just couldn't beat Jones no matter how he fought.
yea bruh, but WILL, is something you CAN improve.............
a guy might be bigger, stronger, but if your WILL is to win, there is no reason why cotto cannot outbox margarito in the rematch...........

Well, "WILL" is something you can improve but it's not like Marg doesn't have "WILL" either.

I can't say it's impossible for Cotto to win a rematch but he will have to fight the fight of his life and pull out a decision because KOing Marg is just not in the cards for him.

He will have to stick and move all night long and if you think he tired in the first fight....

thats what im saying.......like u said "chin" is a GOD-given attribute, either u have it or you dont. we all kno margs got it, so cotto, who's the smaller man, probably shouldn't go into the fight looking for a KO. he should use his GOD-given abilities such as speed and natural boxing skill, to win a decision.......

its going to deppend on how much cotto wants it tho. he's going to have to avoid the heavy exchanges, and most of all avoid the ropes. he's going to have to be "in and out" the whole fight, he'll definitely need his legs.

he might have to even sacrifice cosmetics a lil bit to win this one.......**** what u heard, i'd rather win ugly than lose pretty any day of the year.........

Cotto needs to run more like DLH did to Tito but with more convincing punches.

              Break Down

Cotto used all his tools to the fullest in the fight, he had good movement, footwork and precision punching but Margarito took everything he had. Cotto didn't go to the body because he knew he would have gotten his head knocked off. And no excuses Cotto was fit for 20 rounds if needed to fight

                No excuses

However if you have been in a real boxing match in your life, you know that every punch takes more and more out of you. Cotto got hit with harder punches which killed his momentum and his strength. Wasn't it the Cotto camp that raved about how great Cotto was looking and training before the fight? Didn't Cotto have the longest camp ever in order to prepare for the fight?

                  Haters

To the haters- you can make any excuse, Clottey hurt his hand, Cotto didn't train hard enough and didn't fight a good fight. Nothing will change where Margarito is right now and that's the top. There is no doubt that Cotto may win the rematch, however Margarito owns the first win and a great win it was.

                    The Truth

And nothing will change that. I'm not saying Margarito is god, but he's a hell of a fighter. Don't worry the Williams rematch will come. You can't hate on Margarito for trying to make his money now that he's on top. Everyone talks **** but if you were in his shoes you would do the same.

except brains...................seemed like he came in throwing too many punches, going for a KO, tired himself out......and yea margarito hit him a lot in the process too.......

the perfect gameplan is to just box in the rematch. **** trying to hurt margo to prove a point. just box. you're quicker, so pick your spots, throw your combos, move to margo's right, and guard your grill. lateral movement, not backwards movement, is the key. and if ppl say he ran, so be it. the victory is whats important. just throw combos and get the f--- out the way...

                      margs is definitely beatable bruh......
