And I would not mention that Trinidad never lost to a mexican and he fought 3 top Mexican fighters of all time: Luis Ramon Campas, Oscar De La Hoya and Fernando Vargas!
Find me any list anywhere that has Campas or Vargas in the top 25, much less top ten. And you can start making excuses for them but he beat them all and he was well know for his lifeslyle which involved a lot of *******, hookers, and partying.

When i make my case I don't have to try to diminish Tito's accomplishments because i do rate him as a top fighter, i just rate chavez above him.

This is a question because I can't be too sure, but how long was Tito on the P4P list and was he ever ranked as number one? I know Chavez was and I just don't think Tito was ever at that level, except maybe after the DLH fight which most people thought he actually lost.

Be thankful a guy who was at his prime at 135 never fought a guy who never fought a fighter who was at 147 or above his whole career? Yeah that makes sense, you should be thankful Cazares never gets in the ring with Christian Mijares or Israel Vazquez using that logic.

          Cheating though? Vargas... STEROIDS. Ooops.

Lowblows?? Is that how you Mexicans sleep at night? If Tito fought Vargas 100X... He wins 100X. Vargas was a fragile minded loser. A wannabe vato who got OWNED by everyone after Tito RUINED his ass... DLH, haha little Shane too! Left him looking like an alien.

Did Juanma need any low blows to Embarrass Ponce De Leon?

But back to lowblows: Margarito landed about 4 of them against Cotto do you hear us pretending that's why he won???

Get over it... Tito slammed Vargas into the canvas in the 1st round. It was a wrap. NEVER did Vargas have Tito hurt. Tito was trying to kill Vargas all night.
Im not making any excuses...Tito ****ed up Vargas and thats that...But Vargas was a hot head and he went up against a better fighter at that point in his career...His camp ****** big time...they should've brought him up the way the brought Cotto up....

Tito was in his prime while Vargas was far from it...Thats the biggest mistake Vargas and his camp made...

I wish Vargas would've had more brains to go along with his balls...

One thing you can't say is Vargas has no heart...

And DLH won the second fight against Mosley FYI....ANd don't even bring up Tito vs DLH cause we we all know what happened there. Highway Robbery...

That still doesn't put him in the Top 10 of Mexican or Mexican American boxers....Even when he acomplished all that..

It's like Pacman The mexicutioner every time he beat a mexican all of a sudden that wasnt the top Mexican now 5 year and two more weight classes after the first Barreara fight most mexican would say he never fought a top mexican fighter!

Too bad they barely ever overlapped, Like I said, it's like saying a prime Mijares would KO a prime Calderon, because he would, but it's an idiotic fight to think about making. The poll and the accomplishments speak for themselves. Mostly Puerto Ricans are saying it's Tito but it doesn't even make sense seeing as how Chavez beat two of Puerto Rico's best, who now turn out to be bums.

Tito was a great fighter in his own right, but his accomplishments fall short of Chavez's, no matter how bad it burns you inside.

About the Whitaker fight, I thought Pernell won, so, most people think Tito lost to De La Hoya, and that is his biggest win.

Tito is our hero like Chavez to the Mexicans, their resume are too differents because of the time.
