I think DLH is scared of A.M. That is what I think because he rarely puts him in that list. DLH wants to fight guys that he feels that he can beat and not guys that he does not know he can beat. DLH and Manny should not even be conversating about each other or Hatton......it should be Cotto or A.M. and honestly I would rather DLH fight williams but we all know that won't happen.

Manny is a really good fighter... but Floyds skills are great... He lacked the "Ill fight anyone" Spirit, which really sucks... but his skills are unparalleled... and no matter who wins on Saturday... there still not the best welterweight in my eyes... you cant be the best welterweight in the world... if theres a guy sittin in his mansion that can still beat you...
Thats obviously not fair to Cotto.... but it is what it is.

Anyone who knows me, knows that i cant stand Floyd "i wanna be like Paris Hilton" Mayweather, but think about it. If Floyd was trying to avoid the Cotto/Margarito winner, why not fight Oscar in Sept, get his payday, THEN retire? A fight with the winner of the Cotto/Margo bout wouldnt be able to be made any sooner than December 2008 anyway.
The reason Floyd has retired is because he didnt have his way at the negotiating table with Oscar. Floyd stands 5'7, but his ego is 10ft tall. He really thinks that the 2.4mil ppv's him and Oscar did last year was his own doing! He's even said it himself. Everyone here knows that Oscar can pull in 1mil+ ppv's fighting pretty much any other high profile fighter in the sport. Can Floyd? I dont think so. Floyd feels that because he was the winner of thier first bout, that he has the right to the larger chunk of the purse. While that might sound right, everyone knows that's not how it works in this business. Oscar is still the biggest draw in the sport, and Floyd's ego would'nt let him accept the smaller piece of the pie for the rematch. Like i've said several times before, he overvalues himself as an entertainer.
On top of that, the rematch was drawing VERY negative outcry from the boxing community. Outside of the DIEHARD Oscar and Floyd fans, NOBODY wanted to see this rematch. Close or not, there was nothing in thier first fight that warranted the desire to see a rematch. Plain and simple. So i think the combination of not wanting to take a back seat to Oscar AGAIN, and the negative press this fight was receiving, is the reason why Floyd decided to TEMPORARILY retire AGAIN. His lifestyle is too expensive for him to walk away from 15-20mil paydays. UNFORTUNATELY, he will be back. If its to face the winner of Cotto/Marg, then i wont mind, but if he returns to take meaningless fights/rematches, then i'd prefer he stay the **** out the game. I watch boxing to see competitive and entertaining fights. I can give 2 flying ****s how much a fighter makes. To some Floyd fans, that seems to be thier main concern.
