Your synapses are not firing, ADD-boy. Perhaps you lost track of the conversation, but the convo STARTED about Pac's numbers. YOU were the one who introduced the non-sequitur.
Go back to post #204.
Now, for whatever little ethnic allegiance you have that caused you to align behind one fighter or another, i dunno. What I DO know is that there are certain fighters who are considered commercial stars, and certain fighters who are not.
I know which is which.
AGAIN, Zab had ZEROZEROZERO participation in the promotion. "Commercials" may be a comprehensive fight promotion in your mind. But let me tell you that it is not. It is merely one (small) component.
No dummy, the conversation started is about Floyd blasting HBO as being racist.
However, I saw something that made me go "huh"? in your post and I decided to ask you a question. A question that had nothing to do with Pacquiao. I'll even post it again.
What has Floyd done without a 24/7 series?
About as much as any other fighter not named DLH is the right answer.
What Manny Pacquiao has to do with that I'll never know.
Again, small component or not, a commercial is a paid advertisement.

All that matters is at 130 and 135 he was the man, so it automatically translates to victories against bigger, stronger guys.
And its his fault? He tried to do a unification bout with Hatton,Hatton did`nt want it.And Cotto also,Arum felt Cotto was`nt ready.

cmon guy, how many ways are you going to try to spin this?[/B][/COLOR]
Dontcha think that HBO would do a Cotto/margarito 24/7 if they think it would bring in tens of millions more?? That is just common sense.
The reason that certain guys don't get the full Countdown or 24/7 treatment is because the additional production and marketing expense would not be recouped.

even tho i think there is an obvious bias with certain fighters (coming from lederman as well) i dont think its a race issue
they praised the hell outta floyd when he was at lw, it was only recently they began hating on floyd like around the time of the baldomir fight. i dont think they like him cause of who hes fought and the way he fights, also his ****iness and arrogance
we shouldnt forget they treated JT like the next big thing until he lost to pavlik. once pavlik won that role was given to him as he was the undefeated, exciting fighter

Floyd retires.
Tony goes and loses and ends up fighting on undercatrds, including HBO's lowest rated show of all time.
Implicit in "you'll get a shot" is 'you have to keep winning". I don't think Hatton currently feels pressure to fight Witter.
Is that fair?
