    oops.
It is hard to make a fight between guys who are 2 divisions away than 1 division. If, and i mean If PAv beat cal, i bet he would be called a 175 champ similiar to sugar when he beat lalonde, and they didn't even fight at 175. You issue a challenge, don't ask the champ to meet you at a catch weight, and don't ask the old guy to lose weight to meet you. Go to 175 and fight cal if you really want the fight.

Nothing from King, but the way you make it seem is almost as if Cotto hasn't done anything. And as far as a give & take fight, the Torres or Mosley fight seemed pretty tough to me.
Shane is old okay. The sooner you believe that the better. As far as cotto, the torres fight proved he could win a shoot out. That was a good win. But i'm talking about beating a guy considered your equal. Cotto has not done that yet.

Hopkins started out at LH, actually, was a natural LH. He lost his first pro fight, and went immediately down to lower weight classes where he could more easily compete. Also, I don't know why people seem to think Hopkins is a big puncher, even at middle or SM. His KO ratio is 66%, barely average, not what one would expect from someone nickamed "The Executioner".

Hopkins is a smart fighter who will try and pull a win at any cost that doesn't give a crap what anyone watching the fight thinks of it. Understandable, but not admirable.

I know Shane is an older guy, 36 yes I know, Okay? Who has Floyd beaten that is considered his equal, everyone he has faced I felt he could beat.

I still have to say that giving a undefeated, P4P #5, KO machine his first loss, his first give knockdowns, and landing more punches than he threw is QUITE impressive, even if he was distracted by the looming threat of jailtime.

What's the difference between Calzaghe vs. Pavlik & Mayweather vs. Hatton?

Pavlik is completely unproven at LHW (or SMW for that matter)... right?

Hop came out of prison and fought at a weight he wasn't used to. Guys bulk up in jail. It isn't their natural weight. We call it the pacman syndrome of a guy getting out of jail looking huge, and then shrinking as time goes by. I would call watching hops style admirable, and not understandable lol. Hop had power. People just remember the old hop who is fighting now because he has been fighting for so long. Hop has true power, and true boxing skills. They are gone, and all we see now is an old man lol.

hatton looked like trash at welterweight against a weak fighter. pavlik fought at 166 against taylor and looked good. i dont think pavlik should fight over 168 right now and calzage is a coward if he wont come down to make the fight.

This matchup has always had me a bit confused...

Calzaghe has been having a lot of trouble making 168 in his latter fights. They mentioned it in the Lacy fight, and have mentioned it in almost every 168 fight after. On the other hand, Pavlik is a big MW, but they have never mentioned him having trouble.

Fair enough though. I was just curious what you thought.

By the way, would you have called Tarver out for ducking Hopkins had he not taken the fight?
