Yeah, Jones KO'ed Hill in four...in case you're wondering no one has EVER been able to do something like that to Hill, expect Mormeck who did it only a couple years ago I believe. Del Valle lost a close decision to Hill in Hill's hometown - in a fight where he dropped Hill. Do your homework.

So if you wanna learn about boxing, WATCH IT.
YOU'RE DAZED- I've forgotten more about boxing than you'll ever learn. I don't say that your comments are wrong, they're correct, but you're arguing "ab absurdum".

I hadn't questioned a single thing you said, but had re-inforced it, by pointing out that De Valle was no slouch.. That you are too ****** to properly understand the English language, and it's mode of syntax it YOUR problem, and doesn't give you the right to insult me. I mean "try" to insult me.

AND.........I.ve watched every boxing show available to me for the past 50 years or more, and have probably 400 fights on tape, maybe more. Not to mention uncounted copies of RING going back to the 1940's plus Boxing Illustrated from it's first day of publication.................Dumbbell !!

Win, lose or draw this won't be the last fight of joes career, if it happens, mark my words.

Hahaha. yeah right. LOL@ this clown zooming back between Wikipedia and Boxrec and posting all this "knowledge."

I'm talking about Lou Del Valle, not how many boxing DVD's you have. And when you brought him up, you had to refer to BOXREC - and then brought up a fight against Hill which you obviously NEVER WATCHED. In fact, it's obvious you never saw Jones-Del Valle either! Maybe you should add those DVD's to your collection!

If it makes decent money they may even be a rematch or trilogy on the cards, I wouldn't like to see it but thats boxing these days, I'd like joe or roy to fight the winner of dawson-tarver, and pavlik but I doubt its going to happen.

I have NO boxing DVDs, they are all original important fight showings, or pre-video films, later shown on TV, the vast majority of which I actually saw at the times the fights took place.

I don't want to descend to "name-calling" but if you insist, it puts me at a disadvantage. For 2 reasons, the first being that I don't have a modern every-day foul tongue, and the second being that, from the quality of your letters, you wouldn't understand that I was insulting you.

With your childish attitude I believe it to be useless even discussing it with you, so will not reply. You sound like a pimple-faced kid who never boxed, whereas I have over 60 fights. Long ago, I admit, but in those days there were no headguards, and we had pro-like conditions.

Speaking off fighters who should retire Del Valle is one of them...
