I hated Lennox Lewis when he was fighting, but when he retired I had a much better appreciation for him. Same thing will happen with Floyd.

I knew that dlh was gonna give him a much harder fight cuz he has tapes to look over and analyse and most importantly, he has mayweather senior on his side now.
I don't think he is scared of fighting margarito or cotto but I do think he is scared to fight dlh again. why? cuz he could easily avoid margarito's punches and easily counter punch him all night to victory. he wouldn't counter punch cotto as easily but he would still counter punch him effectively, and cotto has a suspect chin. I do believe that mayweather could ko him. dlh has speed, power and a strong chin and he is really smart and technically sound. mayweather is a chicken running away if this retirement is real, but I don't think it is.

I still wish he would have gave us the best fights at junior welter and welterweight and that has always been my beef with him.. that he did not do this. The legacy could have been better and his name could have been bigger. I guess its for the better though since he doesn't love the sport and has been a selfsih prick that he doesn't go down like what he could have been in the sport of boxing... I can't really say I will miss Mayweather but it does suck that we never saw what was his full potential.
If this is true and you never step foot in the ring, it will probably be a lot better for the sport anyway.. finally the best will fight the best.
But good bye Mr. Mayweather.. it was fun being frustrated at you while it lasted lol
he has control over that, why doesn't he fight give up and comers a shot
a the WBC belt ??????? he is the one taking the long lay-offs and i guess that got him tired of working and working in the gym for nothing to look up to, or to look forward to;
specially after having your bank account with all the zeros in teh world,
why risk his life energy and undefeated record ? well that's what im thinking is going through mayweather's peanut brain....i wonder what ellerbe has to say

this is BS he just doesnt want to recive a loss, their are too much great fighters today, i think he just doesnt want to fight the great fighters that are out their like a mugel cotto, i remmber watching a fight and emanuel stuart asked max if floyd doesnt fight cotto or any top walterweights will he still consider floyd the number one in the walterweight and he said yes, which i think he is dumm, and i think thats what he is doing, the same thing he has been doing for years now and thats dodging great fighters (shane, margarito and cotto), he said on espn when cotto gets his fame up he will fight him, but he has beatin fighters that floyd doesnt want to fight and also their is a video on youtube while they where interviewing suger shane floyd sat at a table right next to shane and they just happend to talk about fight floyd and shane said well lets ask floyd that Q, and he said he is not in his plans, thats some BS, i think its too late for him to fight a young fighter like cotto, who has evolved i think to be the best walterweight right now, and margartio being the number 2, i lost a lot of respect for floyd, and alot of props to cotto for taking on any fighter, and half a prop for margarito for fighting him now but for not fighting before which he thought it whould be an easier fight to take on pual will but lost, but thank him for not cause cotto grew alot since then, cotto will take this fight and i think they might be a rematch

I still can't believe it!!! DAMN!!!
Still funny how ppl can't even give a little credit. Do you guys had an personal relationship with him? Did he stole money from you (If some ppl say yes, it's your own fault, cuz you knew what you gonna get from him)? ****d your sister? That's what's wrong with the world: HATE!!!
Even though again I guess it won't bring anything because ppl hate him so much that they can't see the facts anymore. For instance I take SRL. Everybody seems to agree that he is a great. And I think that too but I now give you an example of somebody who wants to see somebody as ''fraud'' ''*****'' ''coward'' (funny words for ppl who are even scared to leave their own home or keyboard for that matter). Aaron Pryor did I need to say more??? I know Aaron Pryor is a nobody and probably has no right to fight him but still it would have been fight that Pryor wanted and a fight that I personally would have loved to see. He could have fought Tommy Hearns way earlier but he waited so long that Tommy was past his prime *laugh* (very sarcastic) to beat him. He waited about 7 years till he fought Marvin Hagler. What a *****. And if that's not enough he doesn't fight like a warrior. He always runs away, threw some combo's and that's it. SRL is such a disgrace instead of fighting like a warrior gainst a worthy man like Hagler. Such a *****. And after this win, his biggest... what did he do... he not even fought young upcoming contenders. He fought old man Hearns and even more old man Duran... such a *****... instead of giving his fans (or haters) what they want or youn contenders a chance to shine he fights money fights over real challenges... such a *****. I don't know why this man could be considered great, he was good but... *laugh*
I really hope that the DLH-Cotto fight happens... God please... I can't wait to bash Cotto over this (I do respect Cotto, but why shouldn't you let the Floyd haters, who seems to be all Cotto Fans, give a little bit of their own medicin) It's going to be fun. I can understand it from a business choice, but from a warrior stand point... Cotto the man who fights for legacy, only prime contenders... it's going to be so much fun. And on a side note... DLH has a chance. Cotto is more hungrier and and and like some1 stated but that's only as long as he gets hit with one fine LeftHook *smile*
Yeah, Mayweather fears everyone: DLH, Cotto, Margarito, P. Williams, Quintana, Berto. He's a very scared man. What are you guys dreaming of. If you ain't noticed for example: Shane Mosley won his rounds against Cotto when he started to move. Do you think Floyd would stand their and trade with Cotto??? He doesn't fight fighters who have a 50/50 chance of winning? Cotto has not a 50% chance of beating, Margarito damn sure not, and DLH also damn sure not. The only chance they have to get lucky... because May is too elusive, to good of a defender as such you could punch him with 10 consecutive punches. They have a knockout chance and that's all.
The Corrales fight is a good example of how ppl want to give everybody credit but May. Yes, Corrales was not in his best physical condition so what??? It's not Floyd's fault. Corrales wanted Mayweather and Mayweather said you have to come to my weight class. May wanted DLH and had to move to his weight so whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat??? That's the way it is. On the other note ppl simply talk to less about his physical condition. Yes, for the fights he's always in top shape but that doesn't change the fact that he has a bad back and ****ed up hands!!! I know it's hard for you ppl to see that, because that could be also a reason why he retires but it wouldn't fair so well with your ducking-moniker. This man boxes since he is child. So I think it's very well an argument that a 31 year old man retires instead of somebody who starts boxing with 15 and boxes until he is 35 or something. He simply doesn't trust his body anymore. Everybody knows how many fights he already fought with almsot only one hand. I understand that most ppl want to see him get hurt for no reason, you ppl should stop talking about ducking... you ppl should start and find psychological help.
To call somebody a corward who steps into the ring against professional athletes who are training to hurt you with one punch is also a reason to maybe search some psychological help. I stood in the ring once with an boxer, who wasn't even a professional. And as long as he was easy going it was fun... and then he started to box one round 4 real. I survived it... but I didn't want more... because it was mentally so hard. To really concentrate and and and. So if his mind is really not anymore into it... then it's good.
I wish him well... and hope that he really lives a good life and takes care of his money. Not that he has to come back for some money and maybe gets beat up bad... because his skills have deminished
