Apparently there is no rule in boxing that constitutes if a fighters gets knocked OUT of the ring he gets a 20 count instead of a 10 count?

Apparently the crowd should have known beforehand that McClellan would end up paralyzed later after the fight?

Don't get me wrong, I'm a big fan of the G-man and I even shed a tear when I saw him in the condition that he's in now, but the only argument of yours that holds any water is the rabbit punching, and I agree that refs all over the globe should pay more attention to penalising rabbit punches. But let's not for a moment pretend that Nigel Benn is the only boxer that throws rabbit punches.

Gerald new what he was getting into, dont ALL boxers? 99% of boxers throw rabbit punches atleast once in a fight in a clinch LL did it all the time! the ref is supposed to warn and take points etc but if he doesnt then the boxer is gonna carry on. i dont think anyone is to blame apart from the ref and maybe geralds corner for not noticing he was ****ed up.. maybe. but at the end of the day **** happens.
