Is boxing a team sport or a individual sport..?

by that statement you are therefore agreeing with what im saying. to say that what he's doing will bring in more business, more fans to the SPORT of boxing is ridiculously ignorant. When one says that, they obviously are implying the GENERAL SPORT of boxing and not just Floyd Mayweather. In order for a CASUAL MAINSTREAM fan to watch a Floyd Mayweather Jr. fight, they have to be left with a sense of drama and excitement that the FIGHT itself creates. Floyd Mayweather's style just doesnt produce that and the fact that he isnt putting himself in the ring with opponents who would bring the absolute best out of him isnt helping either. So how would these fans think to themselves, "Damn, that was a hell of a fight, I guess Ima watch OTHER fights as well!"

it doesnt work that way. Floyd is only in the business of promoting Floyd. He is not in the business of promoting Boxing. He said it himself, "we dont fight to prove to the fans who the best." That statement there speaks VOLUMES on what his agenda is. Floyd does not care about Boxing which everyone already knows since he himself has declared many times. He is keepingboxing in the mainstream eye. How does DLH do it? He hypes himse;f and no one else. that what SRL did and thats what Floyd is doing. Out of 4.8 million ppv boxing buys 3.5-3.7 cam from Floyd. No fighter hypes other people up ODL, Cotto, SRL, Tommy Hearns. They are all stars because they hype themselves up and get mainstream to by boxing fight, which brings other fighters, although they arent stars, to the general public. Without Floyd doing what he has done, tell me where boxing would be. tell me this what are Kelly P, ODL, Wlad, Pacman, and any other fighter doing to get mainstream fans interested in other fights? everytime i ask that question, it is never answered. i mean, i get responses but never actually explaining the logic of someone who is promoting their INDIVIDUAL self will actually attract business to the SPORT of boxing not just to the BUSINESS of Floyd Mayweather Jr.

What fighter today or past promoted boxing? When Sugar RAy was popular he was on a box of Wheaties by himself, is that not hyping himself. Same with Roy and Tito and ODLH. They all hype themselves up. No one promotes ALL boxing. It's lie the NBA they promote MJ, Magic, Bird, Lebron, D Wade, etc. Why dont they hype up the last player on the bench?
