      Indy was better than now, until sometime in the 90s when they split it in CART and IRL.

      Still even in its glory days, old retired F1 drivers (andretti, fittipaldi, mansell) would own the local drivers big time.

I went to a race to years ago in KCK and there were over 150K there. It was really funny to see all these people with expensive jackets of there favorite racer completely covered in advertisements. Kindof ironic to me. If you ever get the chance to go to a NASCAR race go, the environment will atleast keep you entertained.
        Kinda like boxing and UFC. isnt it sad?

        NASCAR is lowtech, second rate drivers (compared to f1 or rally), but hey... there is PLENTY of rednecks around, so there you go.

              well, Nascar's popularity is growing in Mexico. As we speak, Nascar is on the search to cultivate a successful Mexican driver for marketing purposes.
