Cotto Mayweather.. will make lots of money right now because of the marketing and because Cotto has a bigger and broader fan base in America then Hatton did.

Last I recall Mayweather was still doing business with Golden Boy and they know how to market the **** out of a fight...Where it not for GBP promoting Hatton Mayweather it would not have made the numbers it did.. even though they were pretty poor ones in America (DLH v. Mayorga selling more) what they did great is that they sold it to the United Kingdom as well.

You sell this fight to Puert Rico and the U.S. im certain it makes double.. Especially with the exposure Cotto is getting fighting for free instead of having people pay PPV money which does nothing for building your fan base.

With great fights.. the money will always come.

I don't know why you should be worrying about the money aspects of the fight though.. what interests is that to us the fans? none.. You said Mayweather makes you money.. You have the potential to make lots of money off this fight if he wins!

I want floyd to fight cotto, but it would be even better if cotto raises his stock, get the other 2 belts.... than even I would think cotto has a good chance, because hes even more proven... im not a floyd hugger by any means, i do like how he fights... but i do think cotto needs to win the rest of the belts..
