yeah i agree larios is gonna get ko'ed..he cant take a punch and cant switch tactics like JMM (look at how he switches is way of boxing in 3rd-12) larios will get ko'ed and give manny more confidence..which is good cuz i wanna see a goof JMM/pac rematch...
Words were out that what the the Pacquiao team has as "something concrete" to announce this coming Monday is the contract for the Pacquiao-Larios match in November. The Pacman really needs this fight as the tune-up for the PAC-JMM rematch in February. I just hope this news turns out to be what Pacman and us are hoping for -- that we see Pacman in action before the year ends!
Would this be another action-packed thriller with Pac's signature written over it, or would Pac follow JMM's strategy against Salido to win and therefore guarantee a rematch with "El Dinamita" but bore the fight fans in the process?
What do you guys think?
First off, the choice of an opponent is interesting for a tune-up match. Larios is a highly regarded fighter, e.g., alphabet belt at jr. feather and all that. Better regarded than Salido whose "mandatory" ranking when he climbed the ring against Marquez is a mystery, given the Juarez's, et al, Larios had often expressed the desire to meet Pacman-- which can be taken as an indication that he is not fazed by Pac's reputation and would make a go of it. Second, on the manner in which Manny would handle Larios: I'm inclined to think that he will do so in the fashion that he dealt with Ldwaba and others he met at Jr. Feather, which was to size up the opponent in the first two or three rounds, retaining the option to unleash power if the opportunity is presented. With Manny's well-earned reputation, I don't think Larios will be so foolish as to start on fire, although more foolish things have been done in boxing through the years. If Larios shows prudence, it will be up to Manny to creat the character of the fight; and if he does what he always did, and did excellently, he'll force Larios to fight. Manny has never been in a boring contest that I know of, and I've seen more than my fair dose of Pacquiao fights. I don't think he will do a Marquez-Salido. It's not in his blood. It would be a case of "If Larios wouldn't come to Manny, Manny will take it to Larios." Larios' punching power is not the type to make Manny think twice. He's tasted harder leather before. So, reserve your seats guys!
yea i think if larios can go in there and box beautifully and keep pac off and power counter punch pac he has a chance..but pac is to fast either way..larios deserves more credit then he's getting...but
if larios ko's pac..i am gonna laugh my ass off...when is this fight happeneing again????

SAME as everybody else I want to see Pac fighing before the year ends . . . but certainly not in the MAB/MORALES under card.... that's a slap in the face.
It's not on Pacquiao's resume to give fans a boring fight . . . that never happen yet. Pacquiao is a natural action fighter and puts 100% effort in all his fights. Ensure victory? There's only one way to ensure victory . . . that is to send opponents to the dream land.

changed boxing styles? what style? he just backed off...
It will be a good fight, between two fearless fighters. Its an important fight for both fighters, a career defining fight for Larios and a risky tune up for Pacquiao, not like the safe path taken by Chicken JMM.
