    Pacquiao-Larios in November

Words were out that what the the Pacquiao team has as "something concrete" to announce this coming Monday is the contract for the Pacquiao-Larios match in November. The Pacman really needs this fight as the tune-up for the PAC-JMM rematch in February. I just hope this news turns out to be what Pacman and us are hoping for -- that we see Pacman in action before the year ends!

Would this be another action-packed thriller with Pac's signature written over it, or would Pac follow JMM's strategy against Salido to win and therefore guarantee a rematch with "El Dinamita" but bore the fight fans in the process?

    What do you guys think?

    1) Can someone help me with the meaning of "rubber" match? I thought it was a back and forth rematches, like trilogies and all.

    2) Honestly, think back loooong and hard. Has Pac ever disappoint his fans with being carefull and preserving himself?

    2 things can happen.
    a) Pac will try to finish off Larios as fast as he can. Swarm him and a lot of exchanges.

    b) Pac will toy with Larios and make the fight last long. Due to his recent inactivity, he need teh extra rounds to stay sharp. I personally think this is what he will do. Break Larios till the late rounds before taking him out.

No matter what he does, it will be an exciting fight. That I can guarantee you.

A rubbermatch is the third fight in a trilogy.

Mooks, you're right "rubber match" means showdown or final fight. Sorry guys, my mistake.

this is gonna be a good fight
i doubt pac will be able to toy with Larios as much as u seem to think he'll be able too
          ofcourse pac will attack
its the only way he knows how to fight
          hes a mini-mike
lets just hope his career doesnt end up like mikes
as far as JMM being boring
thats ur opinion and ur entited to it
          but thats how he fights
the pac fight seemed more exciting to you becuz u had your fighter in their and the 3 dramatic knockdowns
but other then th first round the fight kinda went the same as pac one
          JMM nice clean hard combos
only salido wasnt as willing to press the action since he was gettin nailed with great combos
JMM and Pac rematch will be even better this time round
          they know eachother
and i think manny knows he has to finish him early
          if hes gonna KO him
that is unless manny buys good socks dis time round

A rubber match is only a rubber match if the series is split 1-1 so far.

For example. Wright-McKart III couldn't be a rubber match cuz Wright won all three.

I thought a rubber match applies too if both sides have even points besides 1-1 (i.e. 2-2, 3-3, 4-4, ...etc.). In other words, a rubber match aims to break a tie to determine who is the real winner? Are these correct?

Once Pac sees that Larios has no power, he's going for the kill...unless as I said he wants to prolong the fight.
