james toney had a better carrer then roy

Im so sick of hearing people talk about roy being better then toney cause he beat him once they get compared because there both pound for pound middlewieghts ok lets just talk facts here on their PRO! career.
Roy jones jr's biggest is a under developed benard hopkinds and james toney ok thats his biggest win.
James toneys biggest win - michael nunn who was the pound for pound fighter at the time trained by angelo dundee.
Iran barkley who was a warrior but had the wrong style to fight toney.
Im gna add reggie johnson and mike mccallum since some people think there gd and toney whooped them to.
Jirov at cruiserwieght to win his 3rd title in 3 divisions in a epic fight.
he whooped evander holyfield who could stil **** but was old.
He beat undefeated prospect tim littles when he was only allowed 1 round to finish the fight cause of a cut he had.
He used steroids to beat ruiz but so did roy jones as its speculated roy used steroids to but who cares about that.
    Now losses and titles
He won wbu title at light heavy but had some losses to bad compeition montel griffen beat him once then robbed toney the 2nd because many believed toney had won.
He lost to another unknown fighter at light heavy and he lost to roy when he had wieght problems.
He lost twice in heavy division to samuel peter.
Theres toneys losses now lets see roy's loses.
Roy lost to montel griffen by DQ because he got frustrated with him.
He lost to tarver 2 times! once when he came back from heavy he got knocked out then lost a UD 2nd.
He got knocked out by glenn johnson :/ who is a journeyman fighter.
So what names can u say on roys record bhop and toney thats all.

Toney has had a very good career but Jones beat Toney when Toney was considered one of the best fighters in the world.

You can also name Clinton Woods, Julio Gonzalez, Eric Harding, Reggie Johnson, Mike McCallum, Montell Griffin the second time, Tarver the first time, Virgil Hill, Thulani Malinga as good wins on Jones' resume.

Nothing against Toney but I feel that he's too inconsistent, he can look great in one fight but look very ordinary in another.

Those guys are past and present champions who Jones has beaten. Mike McCallum crap, was that why Leonard, Hagler, Hearns wouldn't fight him? He gave Toney a lot of problems in their first 2 fights and it could be argued that he won the first one, there's a reason why Manny Steward called McCallum the most complete fighter he has ever worked with. Johnson hurt Toney in their fight.

            Thanks for a good laugh.

Clinton Woods = the IBF LHW champion.
Julio Gonzales = former linear LHW champion who was the first man to beat Dariusz Michelczewski.
Eric Harding = first man to beat Antonio Tarver.
Reggie Johnson = one of the only men to put James Toney on the canvas, lost a split decision to Toney, beat Steve Collins for the middleweight title.
Mike McCallum = a f'n legend. Had 3 close fights with James Toney, first one a draw, second a majority decision for Toney, third one a clear decision for Toney (when McCallum was 40 years old).
Past his best weight and age against Roy so it shouldn't really count though.

You just pretty much confirmed to me what I already knew about you. Ignorant nuthugger.

thx for the laugh ? ever heard of a paper champ there my boy ? thats what woods is so stop using his name and as crap as tarver is he may expose him.
Easy to put someone on the canvas but its harder to win a fight even judah put mayweather on the canvas but wasnt ruled a kd when it should of.
Tarver is a bum hes never been gd but he was a gd amatuer but amatuer and pros is different tarver never was a gd pro.
mike shudnet count for roy then to.
U wana make a point? or point out paper champs?
Also how can i be a nuthugger when there both my fav fighters? im just tired of toney not gettin the cred he deserves its bs to think roy was better.

It does matter, they have common opposition in McCallum and Johnson and Ruiz, Jones beat them easier.

Roy Jones Jr. had the better career and is/was the better fighter.

You can add that all those wins for Roy were totally dominant and undisputable. You don't see any disputed decision wins on Roy's record over guys like Dave Tiberi. And when they he lost to Montell Griffin, which one did better in the rematch? Under almost any context, Roy Jones will always rate higher than James Toney.
