      First off LMAO @ Hatton....

First loss dont feel great.. But Crying wouldn't be an option that comes to mind... EVEN if It was at that level.

You got there and lost and still have the money for your family and kids to be well off for the rest of their lives..

I couldn't pull myself to cry for that... I figure he's being funny.. and if not.....

maybe he really wanted to be the first guy to beat mayweather like the rest. I doubt gatti/judah/corralles/Oscar cried though.

You dont understand because you've never been a high level athlete.

        Real talk.

Lots of pressure when you are at the top.

video about Tyson at the top...right before Spinks

Pay attention from 2:30 on, but I would still start from the beginning.

Yea, your right at the moment.. thats why i said even at that level because I havent been in his shoes... but I'm just saying that I'd find it hard to believe that judah/ oscar and other people that have lost big fights to mayweather cried...

To be honest I think hattons just being the funny man again anyway... everyone knows he makes jokes alot....I'm sure he feels bad about the lost for all his fans and family/legacy.. i doubt he cried because he got K.O.'d though... i dont see hatton *literally*crying over it........and im not even really one of his fans...

I guarantee Judah probably sobbed his eyes out when he lost to Tszyu. I can guarantee that.

Of course now, he does not give a **** if he loses because he is still marketable and the same with DLH.

but speaking for myself, who was high level at the sport i played. I cried once or twice.

You work your ass off for something, and you dont achieve it.

                It's tough on you.

It's the same as say you work your ass off for a year and dont end up making college.

And Floyd cried when he won the title off of Genaro, and when he won his bout with Gatti.

So there goes your thoery, DA1.

You have to understand that Tyson is a totally different story.... his life was in shambles after cus... I wouldn't be surprised if tyson cried before and after every fight after cus died.

Tears of joy and saying.... "**** im a loser let me cry" are two different things...

and it wasn' a theory.. because i didnt rule it out i said "I'd find it hard to believe"....and i'll probably never ask him lol

But again im not a big cryer so maybe its just me because i've lost family members and not cried...

I never once said it was for everyone... people just respond differently... some cry some don't... No biggie really... though i still think hatton was just being a comedian.

Well, it was an extreme example, given Tyson was was very young, Heavyweight Champion of the World, one of, if not the most popular athlete in the World, plus an accumaltion of deaths in his "family" etc., but the point still is top athletes do cry, especially dealing with high level of pressure.

Ricky's is maybe 10% the same as Tyson, but it still hurts with your first loss. Ricky's cherry just got popped by Floyd and when that happens, you bleed and are hurt, you cry, like a women being pounded for the first time by the Black Mamba.

Remember what Roger said: "You breaking that hoe down"...well, Floyd broke him down mentally and physically, making him bleed, popping his cherry in front of the world, in front of his family. He felt exposed in front of millions.
