RICKY HATTON: "I can't stop crying."

Secondly using the term "excuses" is also dishonest. When a sportsman has a camera thrust into his face and is asked to explain his loss then he's usually expected to come up with more than "I dunno". That's why hatton has given the reasons he has, that's why Billy Graham has given the reasons he has. As for the fans' suggestions of one sided refereeing and questionable scorecards, if we're only permitted to debate if our position concurs with your own then it isn't debate, it's onanism.

I must of missed it. Was it a joke thread or was it actually people taking the comment seriously?

People taking the 'fluke' comment seriously really does something to my blood pressure. Maybe the guy (Stackmo)wasn't serious when he said it, but anyone by now who doesn't realise what Hatton meant, after the countless pointless debates needs a bottle of cream soda and some ice-cream wafers.Last edited by starjammer; 12-20-2007, 08:59 PM.

Either way I dont see that as a negative or positive, I've seen it too many times but tough as nails guys when I competed in HS and College. The whole competiting thing is a large emotional investment so at the very end Cities/States/Nationals all the excess emotion be it joy or dissappointment has to be released and it at times manifest itself in teas.

Don't forget that a man whose job is beating the **** out of people is entitled to cry without having his masculinity questioned.
