I saw Winky block a ton of punches from Soliman by the way, and not many landed. Now, don't mention Winky again in this ****ing thread, because this thread is not about Winky Wright.
lol he blocked them, but it still made him look bad and it was a close decision. Margarito said after his last fight he has no interest in a rematch, he wants Cotto or Mayweather or Cintron

Respect to the highest degree is coming your way.

We aren't even talking about Winky in this thread, quit ****ing copping out on the actual argument we are having you *****.

      Tieing up was very smart.

I AM NOT SAYING THAT WILLIAMS DIDN'T DO WHAT HE WAS SUPPOSED TO AGAINST MARGARITO!

I am just saying that he took a lot of punishment, and that leaves a lot of questions about his defense. Accurate fighters who start early would have a better performance than Margarito for sure, unless Williams has improved from that fight.
And this is my outlook on it. Margarito in my opinion is probably the biggest welterweight out there besides Williams. I mean as in power and overall phsyical strength. Marg could easily be at 154 at this stage of his career. To me there is no one's power to be feared for at welter for Williams. I do agree his defense needs vast improvement. But it not like he's so reckless with his offense that he would be out of postion and seriously hurt. Meaning he wouldn't end up like Hatton basically.

My thoughts exactly...he doesn't have to worry about Floyd's power if he dealt with Margarito's

NO ONE is claiming that Floyd was going to knock Williams out.

I even said in my first post that the only chance for Williams to get KO'd was by a Cotto body shot, or a plethora thereof.

I just think the holes in his defense will allow Floyd and Cotto to win quite a few rounds, which would put Williams into some trouble.

I like said I won't argue with a fool because that would make me one but just prove to you that you really are a fool. Hooked on Phonics has to do with reading not math. A person can win a fight 9-3 but it could be a highly contested fight which would not be easy it just says the one person won more rounds it doesn't show the manner in which those rounds were won.

That's cool bro...I think his volume and size would prevent that...I think Cotto would be easier work for him then Margarito

LOL 9-3, including the first 6 rounds, and never tasting canvas equals a boxing clinic

I don't think much of Williams. I think Cotto will destroy him.

nah you see just because Margarito hit him to the body and it didn't really do much you can't pretend it will be the same case with Miguel, Cotto knows how to stick and move, he knows how to go to the body in a way that chops you down, Paul actually slowed down a little at the end of the Margarito fight, Tony was saying that he was thrown off by Paul's activity early on, he never faced someone who punched so fast like that and the punches didn't hurt they just came so fast he saw himself blocking more than hitting, Williams is big I'm just asking you what do you think will happen when he faces someone like Mayweather whom has the same hand reach and is shorter so he can come up underneath Paul's punches and crack him and someone like Cotto whose arms are considerably shorter but his ability to duck punches and attack the body will allow him to hit Williams in ways he's never felt, clinching with a short dude is asking to get your body torn up, I just think about the later rounds when Paul's output is no longer the same, when he starts to wear down like in the championship rounds of the Margarito fight, when he clinches a lot more, I just think about how will he respond to clean punches from someone who can actually hurt him..
