I forgot what round maybe the 11th Marg landed his best punches of the fight and Williams tied up. And it was the smart thing to do. But after Marg would finish Williams would come right back. And in fact beat the crap out of Marg in the 12th (the most important round where a guy like Marg with experience should have prevailed).

Tieing up was very smart.

I am just saying that he took a lot of punishment, and that leaves a lot of questions about his defense. Accurate fighters who start early would have a better performance than Margarito for sure, unless Williams has improved from that fight.

He would walk right through their punches just like he did Mitchell's...Cotto got hit by every single guy he ever fought, so Williams is going to hit him...40 times a round...Mayweather would get mopped up by Williams and his work rate, an OLD DLH was winning rounds based off his activity

you only looking at the NUMBER of punches Williams will land you don't realize that most of it is pitter patter, for Williams his offense IS his defense, he throws SO many punches that he doesn't need to block he just needs to clinch whenever he needs a wind and go back to punching but let me ask you this, what do you think will happen when he gets hit with a body shot that'll stop his punch output? a shot to stop him in his tracks and knock the wind out of him? he can take it I'm sure but do you think he will continue to punch the same? because is so the super hero he named himself after should have been Superman not The Punisher, just being logical here I ain't trying to come off as a smart ass homie but it's a real question..

Margarito hit him hard to the body a lot...and Williams still mopped him up in the 12th round...most of his fights his highest punch outputs are in the last rounds...his stamina is amazing...I think it would be hard to get a consistant body attack on him because as you said his offense is his defense and he would just tie you up anyways

Tony actually wants a rematch, pretty badly. He is just busy calling out everyone, because he doesn't bring anything to the table to get a fight.

I never said that proves he will walk through Cotto...at all. I said he can use his offense as his defense which would prevent a consistant body attack, that along with his tie ups...plus he can **** on the inside. I agree about Cintron definitely, he will get exposed, he basically did his last fight.
