i think my point is there will always be someone out there that for floyd to fight 'that one last fight' if he beats hatton then fought and beat cotto you lot would call for floyd to face paul williams and if he beat him then it would be margarito and by that time a whole new brace of young undefeated lions may have emerged for him to face. the longer floyd goes on the more chance he has of losing. the haters cant stand the thought of floyd retiring with that '0' but the truth is boxing needs a success story like mayweathers, what a fantastic advert for boxing he would be if he got out after hatton

Uhh...you might've been able to say something like that 5 fights ago, but by now, Cotto has already proven himself to not be a fraud, regardless of whether he beats Mayweather or not.

see but thats the bull**** though because his actions wouldn't be coinciding with his words, the spot in all time status would be refunded because being the best means beating the best, he's facing Ricky Hatton for what? something bad he said about Floyd? thats bull**** yo cuz Miguel cursed him out, blabber mouthed him and took a piss on him threw beating guys who are faster, stronger and bigger than him, he didn't need to use words to do it, if he beats Miguel Cotto then I will forever hold him up high.. IMO he never had to face Williams nor Margarito, **** even Kermit Cintron because these guys need to fight amongst each other, they are the new generation and with Floyd being on his way out the only fight that would matter for him IS Cotto, it's Cotto who should be in that ring with him come Dec. 8th but it's not, instead it's a lesser opponent with a style tailor made for Floyd, that doesn't reflect greatness to me dogz and this is coming from someone who likes Floyd..

Floyd needs to make a choice yo either he solidifies his career with a fight against the #2 guy in his division him being the #1 or he's finished in my book, no way do I give you number 1 pound for pound and you ain't even fighting guys in your division that would be absurd, it's not too big of an ask yo it's just saying defend your title against someone who deserves it not someone who just used the right words at the right time to flicker your ego, how you defending your Welterweight title against someone who got smacked down back to JWW by someone with shorter arms and lesser skills than you? and you supposed to be #1 pound for pound to me when Cotto just eliminated your other biggest threat and made it THAT much easier on you? nah no way homie.. 100

Ricky Hatton brings the British boxing audience. Over there its still a really legit, respectable sport thats mentioned in daily news, rather than on a back-page espn clip. Bringing an entire country worth of viewers equates to tons and tons of money, which is the most important thing in Floyd's life. Cotto has a country, sure, and is just as respectable - Cotto is just too low of a payday (currently) for Floyd.

You mean he will run backwords like a btch, and get tagged left and right by cotto til he no longer looks like a Mayweather and more like a young Leon Spinks. Crazy ngga? You think cause you talk online ****, your boy Floyd is too much for Cotto?? You know Floyd is pink. Did you see him shaking when Margarito asked him a question?? He is a punk.

Mayweather has been fighting bums for the past 4 years...last time he fought someone in his prime was the last fight vs Jose Luis Castillo. Cotto, though guarded early, has seriously stepped up his game. Mayweather, in orde to be the legend he claims to be (which he isnt) needs to fight top dawgs...Cotto is the top dawg at 147. Beat him, and maybe a Margarito or Cintron, then we can talk. He fights dudes that have give absolutely no danger factor, and that aint boxing my peeps.

nah yo it ain't that but Ricky Hatton is NOT a Welterweight, he might as well vacate his Welterweight straps and say **** it then because all he's doing is holding Cotto and everyone there back on their gold.. what happens if Hatton wins? he ain't going to stay there and defend against guys like Cotto and Williams he going to go for and undeserving Oscar De La Hoya or give up the belts and go back down like he did with Collazo, what happens if Floyd wins? he retires and the belts get vacated, right? so why beat around the bush, if he doesn't want to fight Cotto then stop the **** and let Cotto go threw someone else, right now he's defending his WELTERWEIGHT title against a NON welterweight, how can you credit that if he doesn't plan on giving the ONLY other real opponent for him a chance at the title afterwards?

for all that give up the belts right now and stop the bull****, go ahead and avoid Cotto but don't sit there and stand in his way niether.. 100
