Therefore, I favour him SLIGHTLY in this fight although I wouldn't be surprised if Sheeraz wins either given that he's riding high on confidence and has been in devastating form as of late.

One thing's for sure, this is easily the BEST fight on the card and the truest 50-50 matchup.

I agree it is a good match up, fairly even, I favor Williams to win.

If a boxing match predominantly of out fighting and jabs -- that type of fight develops, I favor Sherraz to win.

I view this as a match up as a good but not great pressure fighter who can punch a bit for a middle weight vs. A more skilled but, chinny fighter.

To me this match is more about what Willams is and is not. Timing as to when the fight happens means a lot in boxing. Two years ago, I would favor Sherraz. Two years in the future, I pick Williams. This fight is in the middle.

Yes Sheeraz definitely has the height advantage and a superior jab whereas Williams is much more athletic with faster hands and feet. However, the question is whether Williams can TAKE Sheeraz's power jab (he's never been tested before) and get on the inside to land a flurry of combinations. Therefore, it is literally a 50-50 matchup as the style of the fight will dictate who wins as you correctly pointed out.

Obviously I want Sheeraz to win at ALL costs but there's no denying that Williams is an elite prospect.

      I give Williams a slight edge 52%-48%.

To me is more like 60/40% for Williams. The question forWilliams is not whether he can take a jab, rather his will to navigate though it, williness to do what it will take to win. I don't not see Williams as a power ,rather he is a solid hitter who is facing what a view as a string bean of guy who likely can't take a body attack or a chin checking type of shot.

Is Williams an old school type of fighter or new breed softie?

Disagree Z...60/40 in Williams' favour is far too wide especially considering that most bookies favour Sheeraz by the same margin. Also, I think you're VASTLY underestimating Sheeraz's jab which is more akin to a power shot than a regular jab. In fact, I strongly urge you to watch the highlights of his 2 most recent wins below where he dropped and rocked his opponents multiple times with his JAB alone.

Also, need I remind you that Sheeraz has the height and reach advantage and has only been down ONCE (flash knockdown) in his 19 professional fights. Therefore, let's not make out that he's the second coming of Amir Khan because the guy definitely has a chin and can crack (80% KO ratio).

Bookies set odds for public, 80% of which know little about boxing. The English back their man , many times by betting with their heart. Is Sheeraz Kahn 2.0? Remember what I said about his body type and chin. I smell a brittle man for the Isle of glass jaws. And glass cannon's! We will see.

I don't think that either fighter should be considered a favourite as it's a 50-50 matchup. Also, even if he DOES get knocked out, you can't call Sheeraz 'Khan 2.0' as he's only been down ONCE (flash knockdown) in 19 professional fights whereas Khan was dropped and wobbled numerous times on his way to winning a world title.

Anyhow, it's too close to call as both guys have an equal chance of winning. Can Ammo negate Sheeraz's power jab? Can Sheeraz take Ammo's combinations? I favour the American by the slimmest of margins (52-48%) but wouldn't be surprised if Sheeraz won either. However, obviously I'll be cheering for Hamzah at ALL costs!

Well it has not happen yet, ( his ko loss ), but like Khan he was down in one of his early fights (12th ) . Will Sheeraz be Ko'd in his 20th fight? It took Kahn 19 fights.

60/40 IMO in favor of Williams. The odds are for the betting public. Glad you see through that.

Haha Khan had a reputation for having a glass jaw after being wobbled/dropped several times early in his career. However, literally NOBODY thinks that about Sheeraz apart from the obvious racial stereotyping. Anyhow, we'll see what happens tomorrow although Williams definitely seems like the more HUNGRIER fighter which combined with his talent should see him through.

Btw can't wait for Dubois to EXPOSE your boy Hrgovic and make him look average just like 40yo Zhang did lol.

I offered you a signature bet. Let's make it for only1 month. You can choose Dubois, I choose Hrgovic. Are we on? Say the word today and we are on.
Lol Paul Williams was the same height and weight class and also had a string bean physique but was renowned for his iron chin before Martinez iced him. However, he got caught by a great punch he didn’t see coming rather than being chinny like Khan. Therefore, the chin ISN’T dependant on the body type although Sheeraz could still be chinny.

Haha no chance on the sig bet…let’s just agree to a friendly no strings attached bet?

Yes, chins are dependent on body types past say....Welterweight. I will be at a party missing the fight. : ( I will have to check in later.

Actually Williams was 6’2 whereas Sheeraz is 6’3. Anyhow, I get what you’re trying to say and you COULD be right. However, Sheeraz has won 19 professional fights putting him next in line for Janibek’s belt and only suffered ONE knockdown. Therefore, deducing that he’s chinny is illogical.

Lol how are you missing the fight? It’s an amazing card top to bottom and you’ll definitely have more fun than at your party!
