how is lennox lewis british? he boxed for canada in the olympics at 24 years of age, and was born in jamacia. the only reason he come to england was due to his promoter.

He was born in West Ham, which is nowhere near Jamaica.

Thought he was born in London of Jamaican parentage. Still can't really claim him as British much as I'd like to, ditto Fitzsimmons.

Lennox Lewis was born and bred in London for fcuk sake ....he lived there till he was 14 yrs old ! Lennox even considers himself a londoner ......so who are we to tell him different !?
Met him in a boxing shop once ....he is fcuking huge ....i mean i am 6ft 1 and i looked like a little boy along side of him
My kid brother who's a bit of a clown kept offering him out side for a bit of toe to toe .....lennox couldn't stop laughing at him lol!
We didn't have a camera with us or we would of took a pic ...but rest a assured Lennox is a real cool fella and a great laugh !

In New Zealand and Australia if you have done something noteworthy, and once your parents flew over that region in a plane thats enough for them to claim you as a kiwi or aussie.
