Only 3 German born pilots served in the RAF during WW2, and they were all ***ish. That is a well documented fact, mainly because one of them went on to win 2 Oscars after the war.



Regarding Herr Schmeling, it's easy for people to sit in the safety and security of their homes and pontificate about what other people caught up in horrible situations and scared for the well being of friends and relatives, as well as their own lives, cudda, shudda, done. Those ****s didn't fuck around.

Max's activities during the war were investigated by people with access to way more factual evidence than anybody at this forum, and they decided he was one of the good guys. That's good enough for me.
