Goebbels was the guy who was calling the shots with Schmeling (and he was a strong anti-Semite) but he made the decision that Schmeling could keep his *** manger (Jacobs) because he saw more currency in Schemeling holding the title than persecuting any one particular ***.

Even Hitler gave his family doctor (Dr. Block I believe) a free ride through the war, calling him a "noble ***."

The **** didn't come from the nobility (Prussians) or the peasantry (communists), they were a nightmare begat from middle-class shopkeepers; they functioned under a perverse sense of practicality.

It wasn't until 1944 (after Normandy and desperation) that Germany became a totalitarian state, before that it was authoritarian with a strong free enterprise system.

Hitler's Germany wasn't what we think of it as being until the last two-three years of the war, before that exceptions were made.
    really great post.

but these schmelinng fanboys appear sick in the head tbh

we both know the answer is no. because you are to mentally weak.

why did shmeling never leave **** germany. whilst others were fleeing.

as i said you did no research..
      pathetic and mentally weak.
There were ***s that didn't leave Germany in world war 2. Not everyone leaves if its their home. And he had a bit of a safety net being a famous boxer that made Germany look good. "Hitlers golden boy" is a different claim. Also this argument is over, Schmeling never joined the **** party on paper. You are implying he was an underground **** and I still think you are trolling.

you can believe the fairy tail if you want. i would never fall for such nonsense.

and as i said. this was a point of contention with the the american press.

its all rather convenient that after the war everyone believes he was a "good german".

as i previously stated the story of him rescuing ***s didnt surface until decades later. i wonder why.

Can you give us some links to this being a point of contention with the American press?

I doubt many people took a dislike to Schmeling because they thought he was a ****, but rather because America was fighting a war with Germany. Just because a country is our enemy doesn't make every person from that country a bad person.

It never came out because Schmeling asked the boys he saved not to say anything. Why would he need them to come out and tell this story decades later when he was already seen as a good man and not being part of the **** regime?

            valid points.
but i am not just going to give the benefit of the doubt. especially when it looks so suspect.

if germany had won the war i am positive history would know a
            a very different max schmeling.

and why did the story come out in the 1980s (i think)

as far as i am aware all books and documentaries about
schmeling spend very little time on his days during the war.
that is a red flag if ever i've seen one. (please correct me if i am wrong)

on my way out. but will re find the links later. (its tedious digging up old links haha)

During the horrific Kristallnacht, he hid the two sons of a ***ish friend, David Lewin, from the ****s in his room at Berlin’s Excelsior Hotel. Throughout the 1930s, he continued to employ his manager, Joe Jacobs, a ***ish American. He never turned his back on ***ish friends or disassociated himself with them.

That's a paragraph from the article and doesn't make him look too **** like there.
