I think Roger deserves it if you take everything into account.
Roger was a hell of a fighter, hell of a trainer also...Im not crazy about Floyd senior but he probably should get the nod under trainer as well...

Roger had a very special gift as a trainer, he was one of those guys that when the house is burning and you are on the ledge needig to make the jump...Roger could calmly convince you things are fine, just step across now. I saw him calm Floyd down this way many times, he just inspired confidence.

Especially in the early days when Floyd was still learning and growing. As he got older and more seasoned he wasn't as influential but in the early days he was massively influential.

Floyd was the best at avoiding fighters when their reputations were big. He has a lot of boxing moves, but like Dempsey, I would have liked to see how those moves worked against the best fighters when they were at their most dangerous. We only got to see this against Chico. The rest of the time Floyd was gone cherry picking.

I met both. Roger, at this stage, is suffering some severe mental illness. He was out of his mind. Floyd Sr. on the other hand was still pretty sharp and witty.

Yes. Senior has held out better. I think Floyd felt awful about having to let Roger go as corner man but it happens.

Oscar says a lot of things. Problem is, what does he really think? The credibility of his word is nada.

I'm impressed at how physically fit Floyd Sr managed to keep himself at an advanced age, even with sarcoidosis.

Would love to know what his training routine consists of.

Yeah I saw both in 2015 and Roger was struggling badly even then. I don't think he took care of himself well in his latter days plus he took a lot of really bad beatings in the ring and also in sparring if the stories are true.

It's crazy because those hits don't always effect you right away. When Roger retired from Boxing he was still sharp, witty, fast talking, all that stuff. But as he got further in age he starting slurring a lot more and just getting slower and slower and now he's at a state where he can't put coherent sentences together. It shows the after effects of boxing can hit you years down the line, a fighter can think they have retired with all their faculties but it's not always the case.

I think it's genetics. All of the Mayweather brothers and Floyd Jr. are slim, no fat on them. The type of guys who have natural six packs.
