Reid was robbed by the Ref as much as the score.

What I remember most from that fight was 2 instances where Leonard was beating Hearns up so bad it could have easily been stopped by the referee.

By some miracle Hearns was able to stay on his feet, but those beatings he took from Leonard were more significant than the knockdowns he scored on Leonard imo and they should have been scored 10-8 rounds, if they weren't.

Such an inteligent answer...when one fighter totally dominates the other fighter through thta round it should be scored a 10-8 round.....round 5 and even more the last round hearns was battered from ringpost to ringpost and it could easily have been stopped....hearns did sneak that fight but it wasnt the robbery some people say it is.....i think the biggest robbery i have seen was when lewis was robbed with a drawer against holyfield in MSG..lewis got jobbed that night and there was even an inquiry into the verdict

Evander Holyfield vs Lennox Lewis was a way way more controversial decision than Andre Ward vs Sergey Kovalev! Credit to Evander Holyfield for taking the second fight, and really pushing Lennox lewis in the rematch!

I can remember i got this documentary for Christmas when i was a kid on VHS! haha!

Holyfield did not win that fight . LOOKING competive and winning are two different things . He was outlanded and self admitted he couldn't get past the jab and had extreme difficulties overall getting to Lewis often . Arthur Mercante jr. the ref personally told me it was a robbery 2 days after the actual fight ,i cant see how it wasnt calling that fight a draw but we ALL know King pulled strings there .

Yeah, on the Ringside episode on Lennox Lewis, Emmanuel Stewart even said that he told Lewis to pick up the pace because he didn't like the looks on the faces of the judges and suspected something shady. Sounds like he wanted him to get the stoppage. It's like they often say in the fight game, try not to leave it in the hands of the judges.

Yes thank you. And you wanna know something I would even go as far as saying that those type of rounds should be scored 10-7.

When you're dominant throughout and inflict a serious amount of damage to your opponent in the round, so much so that it could have been stopped by the referee, it's even more significant than a round where a fighter scores two knockdowns that don't come close to ending the fight yet they're still scored 10-7.

I will rewatch the fight soon but I do remember clearly that Leonard almost stopped Hearns on more than one occasion, beating him up badly in the corner of the ring.

Some very interesting ones here. For me these are the worst.

1. Pernell Whitaker vs Jose Luis Ramirez 1 - Just awful, I mean Whitaker-Chavez was bad and everyone mentions it because that was a bigger fight but Whitaker was robbed blind here. I think I gave Ramirez 1 or 2 rounds when I saw it and I was trying to give him the benefit of the doubt, LOL.

2. Lennox Lewis vs Evander Holyfield 1 - Don't see how you can give Holyfield more than 3 rounds to be honest. He got beat up in this fight and how you can give him more than that is beyond me.

3. Casamayor vs Santa Cruz - Casamayor got nothing done in this fight, looked old, slow and Santa Cruz was on top of it in nearly every round. Classic example of the name fighter getting the nod even though he did nothing to deserve it.

Honorable mentions - Pacquiao vs Marquez 3, Brandon Rios vs Richard Abril, Marvin Hagler vs Antuofermo, De La Hoya vs Sturm, Winky Wright vs Harry Simon, Williams vs Lara. In my opinion these were all clear wins too but the ones above are the absolute worst, like lopsided wins, that were robberies.
