How many ATG heavyweights were KO'd early in a fight (within 5-6 rounds) from one punch from a far less superior fighter, as Lewis was to Rahman.



List off some other ATG heavies who were KO'd early and with only one punch.

The only one I can really think of off the top of my head is Dempsey and that fight has had "fix" rumours about it for about 90 years.

Jack Johnson had a couple very early in his career and very late in his career.....none in his prime though.

Then Dempsey is it.....and that's shrouded in controversy. You'll probably find more examples in other weight classes but suspect those examples will be few and far between. Usually a weak set of wiskers is a pretty firm bar to ATG status.

As an aside, Lennox doesn't crack my ATG Heavyweight list for that very reason. I've said it many times: With a better chin he'd have made my list. The thing is, it's not just that he got sparked with one punch by two journeymen fighters: It's also the number of times he got wobbled by fighters who were by no means devestating punchers.

there isn't any feather fisted heavyweights...and heavyweights are just human beings and their jaws can only take a certain amount of pressure .....anyone can throw devastating punches ,however only a few can throw vast amounts

Liston is certainly an ATG...but i don't think he even got concussed against Ali
