Toney loved guys to come at him so he could counter effectively. Hagler most likely would box him from the outside as he usually did, as it would be in his best interest to do so. Hagler's busy jab would give Toney all sorts of problems as it did to most opponents. So would the lateral movement. Toney would get some shots in, but Hagler had a great chin anyway. Toney would hold his own
Hagler wins a competitive but clear decision.

I cant see Tony landing those counter rights on Hagler, not a prime one. Id bet the house on hagler.

Id ***** myself if this ever happended. Id bet on a Hagler like the majority said itd be bad fight for toney unless he was active on the outside.

Toney on a good night was great, but Hagler is the best at this weight. You could argue prime Jones but even that fight is debatable once Hagler steps on the gas.
I have Hagler beating just about everyone at MW, even prime Hopkins.
put Hagler in at his best against Leonard and he would have won that too (even though I thought he won as it is anyhow).
