Hagler by close UD or late stoppage(corner retirement or cuts)

It would be a good fight and Toney would have good moments and bag a few early rounds but, Hagler would turn on the gas and throw lots of accuarte punches and grind Toney down winning by either way stated above.

    15 ROUNDS - TKO Hagler
12 ROUNDS - Close UD Hagler

I am not quite sure that Toney will TKO. Hagler will likely UD him...Tony has a great chin...say what you will of him...But when a natural middle weight takes shots from heavies and remains standing I dont see how Hagler can KO him or TKO him...UD I am with you all the way mate.

I have Hagler beating just about everyone at MW, even prime Hopkins.

put Hagler in at his best against Leonard and he would have won that too (even though I thought he won as it is anyhow).
Haglr never ever beats leonard. Many try to say that Hagler was washed up. BS. Hagler simply never ever fought a fighter with the movement of Leonard. His entire arsenal was thrown out the window vs a fighter who was not stationary. Also, hagler just best his best two opponents by ko, was only 32 had not lost in 10 years. Finally, hmm Ray had not fought but once in 1 years. lost his legs reflexes and speed, and still had enough to beat hagler. Just imagine how much sharper, faster, much more stamina a 1982 version would have had vs any version of Hagler. Ray beats hagler all day unless he thinks he can brawl with him.

Since when did two fights become a habit? Against Duran he played it safe. Against Leonard he came into the fight with the wrong game plan. Had he fought from his south paw stance from the start he may have won that fight. A tactical mistake in his approach is not the same thing as fighting another guys fight.

i dont really agree with this, "fighting the other guys fight"? how exactly is he going to fight toneys fight? Nobody can really replicate that type of action. Both Hagler and Toney have a certain smooth operative and calm look about them in the ring. I agree with PED User, however i honestly think Toney could possibly use his lateral movement successfully and win a close desicion.

i was just citing his biggest fights.add that he brawled with hearns and you have 3 fights.point being,if he fights the wrong way against toney, its lights out
according to you hagler is 5'7.if thats true then he has absolutely no shot

fightings toney fight would be coming fwd throwing alot of punches like he did with leonard,or swinging for the fences like he did with hearns.he fights those type of fights and toneys gonna get him outta there

                    It's stated Hagler is 5,9 but from personal accounts I've heard it's closer to 5, 8 1/2
