Prime ali vs prime tyson would be good. I dont think ali has ever been in the ring with someone with as much power as tyson.. I would say if tyson didnt get the knockout in the first half of the fight ali would win in the end..
I would point out that Ali was in the ring with opponents who had MORE power than Tyson: Shavers, Foreman, and arguably Liston.

But Poet, shouldn't it also be pointed out that Shavers, Foreman, and Liston, were all slower than Tyson and didn't have the level of combination punches that Tyson had that can get a punch you don't see coming, land hard and fast.
One thing I say about Tyson is that he had a better chance to connect with a solid punch than the others while mixing it up with Ali. Tyson is fast, sharp, accurate, and can hit you with either hand...and his chin is solid to stand there.
Quick example: Sonny Banks
Unlike many HWs that Ali and many others have faced, Tyson has the ability of an under 200 pound fighter that can move fast forward to make up room...which could be troubling to Ali who goes backwards. Tyson also has quick hands to mix it up with Ali.

Their's no dis*****g Tyson had faster hands than they did but that wasn't the claim he was making.

Yeah...my fault.
Have to make it a bit clear on my side and seperate it from the other poster:
I do think Foreman and Shavers hit harder than Tyson but my point with "power" is that true power is knowing how to use it....landing it....landing it when the opponent doesn't see it coming.
Same reason why Tyson slipped when he stopped training properly. What made him effective, besides his natural ability, was the training/preparation through training set up in Catskill. It was about speed, timing, accuracy, and landing the punch in certain key points that D'Amato talked about.

No fault at all to be had! It's a valid point you're making I just wanted to make sure you knew I wasn't disregarding it but rather was narrowly addressing the claim the other was making.

It's also one of the reasons Ali had such a good KO percentage pre-exhile: His hand speed was so blindingly fast he could nail opponents with shots they didn't see coming. He never had great power but was able to get KOs without it.
