In the top third of the page on the line where you can select the page number…. Just to the right of that, there’s the ‘filter’ button.
    No "sort by" option.

    Only "Time" and "Show"

Maybe because I am on my phone and not a computer??????

No. Do it while you are at the history forum front page and then you should be able to do it.

I am a book collector and reckon this one sounds so different that it might well be great (or a dud). Anything is better than another book on Ali or Tyson.

Instead of posting other forum links or stuff I simply post a google search about unfair stuff about max. I believe he was unfairly written about, It may have been because he was ***ish or maybe just that he was responsible for a mans death.
There are, just for illustration, two books i have read on john lennon, one says the singer gave up his career to raise his son and was a brilliant man and the other says he was a b*st*rd who just wanted to take heroin and doss about. They can't both be accurate as they portray him in opposite ways.
Just saying that to sell a book they often tell a fiction and only include quotes from haters.
Just take a look at that google search and you can see quite a lot of stuff about him. I named myself after him here as I greatly admire him.

            - - That Women were greatly attracted to him speaks well although some women tend to cause their own abuse.

Well Max, as a former academic, I take it with a grain of salt when people hype a book based on "meticulous" or (my personal favorite) "New" information. The internet is a curse, a pox, on the real time flow of information which... seldom is new, and should not have to appropriate itself with "This is better research."

I might take a read at this... but this women has to be dealing with a good deal of anecdotal sources. This is not bad, but these sources tend to be flavored by opinion, prejudice, etc. But if this book does weave a legit argument I will certainly give credit where credit is due!

Can I just concur with you, I suppose every person involved with Max is long dead now. He was champion in between the wars. I can't see it selling too well as most people alive haven't even heard of him let alone want to hear stuff except people like us!
I suppose we can see all angles of a person's life and not just good or bad. Like I love watching bill maher but I would be rep******* in an elect!on!!!
