Interesting list here. Curious what everyone thinks and what their own list would look like.

Another list.......Cruiserweight

- - Usyk #1. The rest might as well be on Mars.
Field fought at the beginning against a field of failed smallish heavies, 190lbs created for the WBC to have another sanctioning fee division just like they created the Bridgette Wt division. He wouldn't be competitive today. His post Cruiser record at Hvy is 26-10-2.
I could go on, but I don't go around beat blood and flesh punch dummies.

My own feeling? Cruisers do not exist in a vacuum... Meaning their performance in the division matters less, than...oh lets say a welterweight for example... Ultimately they have to fly away and fight bigger opponents. I mean they could fight down as well I s'pose, technically speaking!
So I will look at guys like like the Btard maker and of course Usyk, Toney etc as having accomplished a lot. I have to look at who was in the division, how long, and not confuse the light heavies to make some of my own contributions.

The Btard maker fought some of the very best you drunk twit. Who did Usyk beat in the division? since you say it is merely a ruse by alphabet soup? (I would actually agree with that)...but then want to rocket Usyk to the top? based on what? his 12, err 5 years of experience? His amatuer record? Either way it does not make a connection to Usyk's greatness via the division.
Holyfield at prime would be a great match for Usyk and probably wins...Last edited by billeau2; 08-07-2024, 02:41 PM.Kid Cauliflower likes this.

From Patterson on back most of the heavyweight champions and ye top contenders were cruiser weights. How would the listed cruiser weights do against yesteryear's small heavyweights? Would they just be fodder??
