In 1977, at MSG, Mike Rossman stopped Mike Quarry in 6 rounds (cut eye) of a scheduled 11-rounder.

It was the 3rd meeting between them, with the first two resulting in a win apiece... so to make sure it didn't end in a draw, it was agreed to schedule it for 11 rounds.
