Two On One: Marciano Or Tyson vs Robinson and Hearns

I see there are a lot of good Marciano threads here.

My question is could Rocky stand up to 2 of the best and hardest hitting welterweights of all time simultaneously, Hearns and Robinson. I don't care, choose Leonard and Robinson, if you want.

In a clinch, the free welterweight can continue hitting Rocky or Tyson, since he is not the one clinching. He can also hit Rock from behind while he is otherwise engaged, as long as he hits him in a legal place. Talk about not seeing one coming!

Could Rocky or Tyson survive this and maybe even win?

Can I now complain that this belongs in Fantasy Fights without looking like a 'stick in the mud'?

You might look like one anyway. One of those complainers, eh? Never be happy until everything is where you think it should be?

I doubt Tyson or Rock could deal w a 2v1. 2 fast great welters are gonna be throwing a lot of leather and not just standing there waiting to be iced. Obv the ko chance is there but while one dude is distracting the other is feeding

Yes. In its correct place. Nonsense like your post discredits the "history" section.

Oh yeah, it is such a sanctified place, as you are a sanctimonious man, sir.

Exactly. But if Rock can get to Hearns's chin good just once he will only have Ray left to deal with. Same goes for Tyson. That might be the best strategy--go straight for Hearns. I would probably bet on the welterweights hunting as a pack though.

I got Rocky. I’m going with 12 rounds.Hearns boxer puncher, Ray is a mover. Hearn fights first six, but Rocky pressure gets him out of there in the third. Go to the body and take rays legs away. Succumbs to Marciano relentless pressure.

While one engages Rock, the other welterweight stays as much as possible out of his peripheral vision to land surprise shots. Might be silly to think a surprise punch from Hearns could not cause the Rock pain. If they trapped his head by crunching roundhouse shots to both cheeks simultaneously, they might canvas him for a 30 count.

P.S. The little guy in my signature is Shaq.
