The top winning percentages at heavyweight, light heavywaith, and Middle Weight

Which heavyweight over 200 pounds has the highest winning percentge whose career has finished? And which heavweavyweight has a best opponents record when he fought them? Names please.

I have the same question for light heavyweight and middle weight. You many use the history of the Ring. There are some pretty good posters here. The list we come up with will be good.

Sullivan's record is very good! But he was a lucky on the cards once and under 200 pounds for many of his matches. Over 200 pounds for all thier matches, Lennox Lewis and Vitali Klitschko rate highly in winning precentages.

Your moving goal posts on me.

No, no, no --> Sullivan meets your OP criteria; give him the credit he deserves even if it doesn't make your point; doesn't support you agenda.

Besides do you actually know Sullivan's weight for any other fight or is that just conjecture?

in 1884 Boxrec has Sullivan as low as 190 and as high as 224 within 3 weeks of eachother. Which is either amazing or absurd.

I suspect finding Sullivan's actual weight is an unlikely event.

Here's a compromise I will offer: they say that the conditioning junkie Muldoon got Sullivan in the best shape of his carrer for the Kilrain fight.

Let's call that Sullivan's best weight. If his weight is under 200, he's out, if it is over 200, you got to factor him in. Deal?

I honestly have no clue how much Sullivan weighted for that fight, boxrec chose to leave out his four or five bareknuckle fights.

So this is an honest proposal.

Over 200 pounds. I guess that leaves Rocky out at 100%.

Sullivan wight could vary depending what he drank in week. His opponetnts at least he good ones were all under 200 lbs. IMO his best prime weight was 190. Here is a quality write up of Sullivan and Kilrain.

Sullivan looked the part of a fighter. He was 5 feet, 10 1/2 inches tall and weighed 195 pounds, when in his best condition. He was black-haired and barrel-chested, with a scowling countenance and a gruff voice. He allegedly could hit "hard enough to knock a horse down", and soon earned the nickname, "The Boston Strong Boy."

Sorry for my delay in replying. Just as I was about to I got blocked from BS for an hour or two. Then I forgot where I was reading.

Did anyone else? I thought maybe they got hacked again.

Anyway, I read the article and saw where the writer concluded that Sullivan's
best weight was probably around 195. Which makes sense.

But the compromise was to be Sullivan's actual weight, as trained by Muldoon, for Kilrain. That wasn't there.

I still say, we know of at least two fights where John L weighed over 200, likely there are more.

Also one of those two, Corbett, is a very important fight in boxing history.

95% should be respected or change the OP criteria.

                Just breaking balls.

                  - - Rocky could have been over 200 instead of training down and still compiled his record.
