You Vision Of Boxing in 70 years?

Assuming you think it will still be around.

One place where the presentation itself can be expanded is more metrics on the screen. Each contestant's body can be broken down and analyzed with the help of fast graphics, rotated on the screen, expanded or shrunken as needed--everything from the arches of the feet to head size.

There will be an additional weight class added between Bridgerweight (uggh I hate that name) and Heavyweight that is capped at 240 lbs.
There will be some sort of automated safety protocol that measures force of impact, location of impact, and snap of neck, in regards to punches delivered to a fighters head. In addition to KOs and referee/doctor stoppages, fights can be stopped if a fighter has reached a combined "x" amount of force to his head.

Breaking News - New Las Vegas, November, 2103

Ukrainian heavy weight Boris Badenov has been disqualified by the New Nevada Unarmed & Armed Combat Commission (NUACC) when test results confirmed that he was now more then the allowed limit of cyborg. The Ukrainian boxer, after his most recent enhancement surgery, is now 48% robot, eight percentage points above the allowed limit.

Badenov's promoter Don King III has petition the Commision arguing that Badenov should not be held to the same standards as American fighters due to the radical DNA experimentation many citizens of the New Soveit Union had been subjected to at birth. King said, "You got to understand, none of these communists guys are totally human to begin with, so what do you expect the results to be."

Badenov is showing less concern with the issue than one might expect. Some feel he has relaxed too comfortablely into his new New Las Vegas beach front property condominium spending most days salt water fishing off his balcony.

I foresee pain helmets. They measure every physiological response instantly. They are not for the fighters, but for the viewers. The pain level can be adjusted up or down or be turned completely off. You can take the full pain the fighter feels, if you have the nerve to. Don't worry, you cannot get concussions.

Don't need a helmet - insert a chip, one for head another for body. But great for fans and judges alike. Big argument over what numbers stops a fight. I can hear it now . . . "Why back in my day we didn't stop a fight until the pain level hit at least 130. These guys today, they stop fights under 100. Fighters just aren't as tough today."

The chip broadcasting this information still needs a receiver. That's what the helmet is. You don't want to implant the viewers, do you? Well, implants will be easier in 70 years if they do not have new replacement technologies altogether.

You just gave a quote from 70 years to come, fulfilling the title of another recent thread!
